i love that younger, lower class shinigami heard stories and myths of kurosaki ichigo, and when they meet him, they’re terrified and nervous and uneasy simply because they’re not sure how to treat someone of such high prestige. but ichigo drops a, “yo, what’s up?” and they just freeze for a second like. shouldn’t he be ordering us around???

" a shame that that was the sternritter that did him in. he had been under the assumption they were nothing but their letters, and ichigo hadn't cared enough to learn most of their names. why learn the name of the oponent you were just about to take out ? ichigo wants to say he got in a lucky hit, but he took him down fair and square.
