okay so ngl, i’m having the worst time right now and i’ve been kind of crying nonstop.
so about a month or so, i had to go to the emergency room twice. the first time i went, they told me that i was me rely having a “panic attack” and sent me home, and then two days later, i was rushed to another emergency room and told that i actually had a virus (not related to covid-19).
my insurance seemed to cover all the fees of my second emergency room trip, but i recently received this bill from my first emergency room trip. the same place that basically did nothing, undermined the pain i was experiencing (the pain was so intense, i thought i was dying), told me that the symptoms was all due to a panic attack.
i’ve already called up my insurance and they told me that they’d covered everything that they possibly could, and i still have to pay the $432.23 that the hospital is charging me with.
i’m not working right now (bc 1. i’m immunocompromised, 2. my place of work is putting their employees at risk 24/7, and 3. it’s at the recommendation of my own psychiatrist), so i’m not earning and i’m living off of savings and donations. i have to pay rent, utilities, and bills, including many doctor appointments bc i’m chronically ill, mentally and physically.
i know there’s so much happening lately and everyone’s more than struggling, but if you can help out in any way, either through boosting or donating, you’ll quite literally be saving my life. thank you in advance. 💜
tldr: i’m broke, unemployed, extremely and constantly ill, and i’m being forced to pay an unfair hospital bill, and i need help.
