This is so sad. Her mother only last week said the lockdown had become ‘terminal loneliness’ for Nikki and her anorexia spiralled. It’s not only the virus itself which is making us lose people, we need to address the mental torment and stress aspect this whole era will have on people, and how it’s hurting already sensitive people who are at risk for other reasons beyond physical.

Rest peacefully, Nikki. Although she suffered with severe anorexia for her entire life, she also managed to become a UK TV legend. I hope she’s in heavenly peace, truly. <3 x
