Background
Romily is the child of Mick Rory and Leonard Snart, they’re biologically Snart’s through a surrogate
They are woman-aligned nb and use they/them and she/her. They have no preference and don’t care what anyone uses for them. I’ll probably use they/them more often because it’s a habit I have from last time I played them
There might be some similarities to Reyna if y’all remember her because I based Reyna off Romily.
Growing up, they learned a lot about engineering, enough to know how to build a Cold Gun with stuff you could get from stuff they could get at the dollar store, how to defend themselves, and heists.
They had a twin sister, Remy. The two were close as can be. There were no secrets between them and they were literal partners in crime.
Remy was also much sweeter than them. Still a thief but with less morally gray than Romily.
When they were around fifteen, they went on their first heist and, well, they fell in love with it and have gotten much better at it since then. Other than engineering, it’s their greatest passion.
They’ve always been very social and at around 16/17, they became very flirty and a heartbreaker. They filtered from relationship to relationship, never really having anything serious and if they did, they sabotaged it before they could have any real feelings.
They went to a non-paragon college to get an undergrad degree. Remy went with them and the two continued to be thieves in between classes and caused quite a bit of mischief.Â
When they were twenty-two, a heist went wrong and Remy was killed. Romily was crushed. They fell apart at the seams and for a year, they were a total mess. They barely got out of bed and fell into a year-long depressive period.Â
Eventually, they almost pulled themselves together. To be honest, they are still a mess. They became harsher, ruder, and more reckless. Their heists became more dangerous.
Their recklessness also translated into more partying and drinking.Â
Overall, they got way more closed off.
They also grew more protective over those they were already close to and those who managed to get close to them.
