Just a heads-up, I am so sry 4 the terrible image quality but this li'l fellow latched onto our screen door during midnight & apparently moved 2 the cover of our hot tub while we were out of the house

He's been, like, suuuuper still even w/ all the wind blowing which let us got some close up pictures of him, but his lower mouth is still moving so we know he's alive at least!

We named him Borzachelli/Borzzachelli (haven't decided on which spelling but we don't know his specifies of frog so I am calling upon ur divine frog wisdom!! ^-^

I TRIED 2 GO GET MY HAND CLOSE 2 HIM SO THAT I COULD DO A HAND SIZE COMPARISON (he is so very little!!!) BUT HE JUMPED ONCE AND IT SCARED ME AND I DONT WANNA SCARE HIM AWAY ANY FURTHER SO...no size reference. Sorry </3

either a Gray tree frog (Hyla versicolor) or Cope's tree frog (Hyla chrysoscelis) :3. Visually they are practically indistinguishable, but the calls are slightly different.

hi! sorry this took so long to get to (i forgot this blog existed lol)

my best guest is that this looks to be someone in the genus Pseudacris (chorus frogs), assuming op is in North America. without knowing local its a bit difficult to say.

If i had to make a specific guess, I would say this looks like a Boreal Chorus frog (Pseudacris maculata). (though please take this with a grain of salt!) :)
