Questionable but I'd say it's the best way to come out

Coming out is important to the person doing it but I always felt like saying "im a homosexual" is kind of awkward and I'd compare it to telling your grill loving parents you're vegan with tears in your eyes

They don't really understand it 90% of the time

So I once decided the best way to do it would be either in a joke or just by literally showing the definition

Throw it in casually, someone's joking about you and this random boy from the class "having chemistry"? "-oh no I'm aroace actually" say in a matter of fact tone, like telling someone who just offered you chocolate milk that you're lactose intolerant

And then, seeing their confused or stunned face? Wikipedia page, the literal fucking definition

I haven't had a chance to read it fully yet and I'm guessing about 20% of it isn't completely true but it works

I think every identity matters but the truth is that there's so many sexual, romantic and gender identities that people (especially ones that aren't a part of LGBTQ+) get confused yet often feel to awkward or shy to ask

The definition helps them get the basics and talking from experience: they often ask extra questions anyway
