Our friend Courtney needs financial support in October when they are undertaking two major back surgeries. Courtney is the primary carer for three disabled children with high support needs, and Courtney’s partner will need to take extended unpaid leave to care for Courtney and their three young...
Please help if you can - Courtney is my friend and I'm doing all I can to support their family through this much needed surgery and recovery time. I don't share fundraisers very often but this one is personal as Courtney means so much to me. Update: Lei Wiley-Mydske, founder of the Ed Wiley Autism Acceptance Lending Library, is offering a donation incentive: anyone who donates $50 or more can receive a matted, signed, and numbered print of the Library logo - neurodiversity art in tattoo flash style, created by Neil Mydske - seen at facebook.com/EdWileyAutismAcceptance
Hi! This is me, modeling a contrast tank that I ordered from my #Redbubble shop. I try to purchase as many of the Redbubble products as I can so I can tell you what they're like in person. I love this tank - it has a slightly sheer chiffon front panel and a poly/jersey back panel in white or black (mine is black). It has a loose, flowy fit, nice length and feel. I ordered a size up from what the size chart would indicate because I like a roomy top. :) Everything in my shop is 20% off today with code JOUST20 at checkout. http://www.redbubble.com/people/idrawhumans/shop
I'm making these just because Trump's tweets make me laugh so much. It's like an absurdist performance art project even before I meme them.

Image has colorful handwritten lettering that says “If you’re happy and you know it flap your hands,” with small doodles of hearts, stars, wings, and other shapes.
Weird Wrong & Awkward #3: Night I first drew this comic in the middle of June, and then the Pulse Orlando shooting happened and I thought, well this isn't so amusing anymore. We have more serious things to keep us up at night. So I waited. But more awful things keep happening. And now I see another meme floating around that's kind of the same idea. So what the hell. There will always be awful things keeping us up at night, but then also, pillow wrinkles. Image is a four panel comic with simply drawn human figures and text. Panel One: Person is in bed looking at the the reader, with a thought bubble that says: "Things that keep me up at night." Panel Two: Person stares at the reader. Text and arrows point to "Sheet & blanket folded back unevenly," "hairs tickling my forehead," and "pillow wrinkle by my face." Panel Three: Shows the Person's legs and feet under the blankets, with text and arrow pointing to, "dry feet" and "pajama pants legs twisted up & around." Panel Four: Person 1 stares with bags under their eyes and a thought bubble that says, "Did I lock the doors? I think I need to pee..." Image is a four panel comic with simply drawn human figures and text. Panel One: Person 1 is gesturing toward themselves and telling Person 2, "Sometimes I feel kinda disconnected from my body." Panel Two: Person 1 looks down at their own body, where internal organs can be seen, and says: It's like, all THIS is pretty useful, but it's not really ME. It's not like I was born in the WRONG body, but like I was wrongly born into a body at all." Panel Three: Person 1 looks off in the distance and says, "Like the real ME is one of those cartoon brains floating in a dome and moved about by a robotic machine that I control with my thoughts." Thought bubbles lead to a cartoon of a smiling brain floating in a robot body. Panel Four: Person 1 gestures toward the other person and asks, "Know what I mean?" Person 2 stares with their mouth agape and only replies, "..."
Happy Autistic Pride Day! Image says "if you've met one autistic person... you should meet some more, we're pretty awesome" with a cartoon happy person below.
My #drawingaday today is a new episode of Mugs, with a twist. We are experimenting with a new format, stay tuned to see what's coming up! #draweveryday #comics #mugshalffull #parentsavvy Image is a closeup of a parenting comic: mom with short hair and glasses and a portion of a speech bubble with cut off lettering.
WWA1: Hair Image is a four panel comic with simply drawn human figures and text. Panel One: Person 1 is waving and smiling, Person 2 also smiling and waving says, "Hey! Did you change your hair?" Panel Two: Person 1 stares toward viewer with a thought bubble that says, "When did I last see you? What was my hair like then? Is it the same now?"Panel Three: Person 1 continues to stare and think, "Are you confusing me with someone else? Is this a real question or just being friendly?"Panel Four: Person 1 shrugs and blushes, answering, "Yeah!" while Person 2 appears confused. At the bottom of the panel Person 1 adds, "I think...".
I can't tell you how many nearly identical alphabets I've drawn lately. I choke up and obsess over imperfections. My hand isn't ever steady in the afternoons. I'll get to q and suddenly hate it all. #drawingaday #draweveryday #lettering Image is a messy pile of papers with hand drawn letters on them.
