“You don’t have to be a cardboard cutout of a model to wear the clothes you want. You just need to find them in your size and put them on. At first you might feel a bit wobbly in things but keep going.”

If you can have one super power, what will it be?
It may well be a lifelong mission to find the “perfect” foundation to match our skin for all you sisters and brothers out there. If there is ever going to be something near , anywhere near, to perfect. That this. So here’s 5 in my humble opinion, what I think of them. essence. This is definitely a super affordable brand that you can find in certain watsons. But I would say that this foundation is a miss. When applied to the face, it doesn’t spread very well being quite a thick texture. It makes my skin looks really orangy (?) and instead of brightening up the face, it looks even duller after the application. Chanel. There’s just some makeup or brand that you absolutely love on the first few applications and to realize that it is actually not that great after a while. Well, this is one of it. I mean, it’s chanel, it can’t be all that bad. It’s just that I find the texture really thick to wear as a everyday foundation especially for our humid weather here. Bourjois. Favourite at the moment. The texture is actually quite watery as the name suggest, healthy mix serum. It leaves a really radiant and dewy complexion after applying without my face looking oily. But, if you do have oily skin, I would suggest that you prep your skin with oil free primer and finish off with matt oil control powder. If not, it will look really messy after a few hours. Revlon. For me, this just works really normal. Nothing to rave about, nothing to hate. Except the bottle doesn’t comes with a pump, you have to pour directly onto the back of your hand very carefully. Urgh, mornings when you are in a mad rush and half awake, I do find myself cursing quite a bit. The coverage is really good, just a thin layer is all you need. Nars. Latest addition to the family. After all the rave I have heard and read about, it does not leave me anywhere near disappointed on the first use. Leaves my face really matt and smooth looking after applying and looks great with a highlighter over the cheeks and nose bridge. Well, I won’t say that I love it yet as I’ve only use it once but definitely seeing myself reaching for this really soon again. Any liquid foundation that is a must try that you would recommend? Let me know!
