The holiday season is always crazy for your favorite somms, wine retailer and wine savvy event planners, etc. So give them a gift they will really want and actually use. Sure, it's the thought that counts, but wouldn't you feel better knowing they could really use and love your gift? Most of my "wine friends" are well stocked on the items stated in the introductory section of the attached article, but there are some really great ideas for the enthusiasts and pros in this post too! If you were wondering what to get me this year, I'd like to spend time with you! Tune in to all of our previous eps and give us a quick hello on Facebook, Twitter, here on Tumblr or send us an e-mail at [email protected]. For those close, let's grab a drink or dinner soon. God knows I'm gonna need it to survive another holiday season in retail. -BJZ

Holidaze are here and we have all kinds of opinions on what you should drink, how much you should spend and all that good stuff.Â
Take a listen!
BTW, I had to get more wine for my party...donât underestimate the Power of Positive Drinking!!!!
The internet told me today is @winewithkristen's birthday, and now, I'm telling the Internet! Raise a glass with me to I Feel Vine's east coast host Kristen on her special day. Cheers! đŸ

Time to celebrate! Prohibition was repealed on Dec. 5, 1933 after over a decade of being dry. Let's all raise a glass simply because we can. Cheers!
What to Serve with Your Bird
Thanksgiving is just minutes away. Â Do you know what wine you will be serving with this feast of traditional fall flavors? Our two most recent episodes highlight two of our favorite Turkey Day pours. Â Grab your ear buds, or turn up the volume on your speakers and listen to Pinot Noir and Riesling on I Feel Vine on iTunes. Â This year, we are thankful for you our followers and for lots of great wine! Happy Thanksgiving!

Guess what? Itâs Riesling time! Great wine for the upcoming holiday and so much more! Lend an ear, wonât you?
The article is a couple years old, but the question remains the same. Is there good Pinot Noir for under $15? Have you found a good one to recommend? Share with us!
Did you listen to our last episode featuring Pinot Noir? We discuss this fickle grape and how it's often worth a little splurge to get it right. This great map by Wine Folly shows the little latitudes suited to the grape. Factor in soil, length of growing season, precipitation and all of the other aspects of "terroir" and these zones get even smaller! Where is your favorite Pinot from?
One of the most common questions I get is how to find a bargain. Eric Asimov of the New York Times just shared his top picks for this fall. Tried any of these wines? What's your favorite wine bargain?
Pinot Noir is the topic on this wine Wednesday...take a listen!
96 years ago, the Volstead Act became law and the United States went into the era known as Prohibition. The law was enforced nationally from 1920 until Dec. 5, 1933. Today, we should raise a glass for our freedom to imbibe wine, beer or spirit as we please with food, friends or for fun! -BJZ
How âbout that? Over 17,000 rated Chardonnay wines, the top two are 100 point Champagne! Though, the others arenât too shabby either. If you are an âABCâ drinker (anything but Chardonnay), check out these options, with a grape this versatile and widely available, there is something for everyone. -BJZ.
Chardonnay is a name that will incite an instant response of love or hate. May I suggest using the power of positive drinking for both sides to find a place of understanding? A versatile grape that can express terroir as much as it can be a winemaker's chameleon, there is a Chardonnay out there for everyone. If you haven't found yours yet, you have some drinking to do. Cheers and happy tasting! -BJZ
Favorite Pinot Noir?
GO!
Halloween really is my favorite holiday. Forget how the holiday came to be, today itâs just fun. No religious or family commitments, just a good excuse to don a silly costume, eat an obscene amount of candy and have drinks with friends. @vinepair had created this handy chart to make sure your candy and cocktail choices will be the perfect pair, enjoy!
In my neck of the woods, it is tradition for children to tell a joke to get a treat on Beggarsâ Night (a.k.a. trick or treat). A personal favorite:
If toads give you warts and black cats are bad luck, what do bats give you? HOME RUNS!! Happy and safe Halloween to all. -BJZ
