Taps chin...if hux learned to hide his injuries well bc 1. Getting hurt and showing it is an easy way to die and 2. He would get punished when he got hurt so hes learned to just not tell anyone
And so on one of many missions with kylo where Everything Goes Wrong (its kylos fault) they both get to relative safety, hux makes a snide comment to kylo...and then hits the ground because at some point he got hit but couldnt say or do anything about it so he had been running around for however long with a big Wound on his back. And hes still trying to fight it because by god hes not gonna give ren the satisfaction of seeing him at a low
