As some of you may have noticed, I've not been as active as I promised I would be. I'm not gonna try to make up excuse because it's just simply writers block. That's why I'm gonna take a little break (don't know when I'll be back, I'm sorry 😞). I just don't want to lose my love for writing so that's why I think it's best to take some time off for now and get back with a new boost of ideas and motivation ❤️

“You’re new around here, aren’t you?” You took a seat across the sulking blonde in the far corner of the guild. It was as clear as day that he was trying to hide from all the attention the girls in the building were giving him. It made you wonder why he joined Blue Pegasus in the first place.
“What about it?” he only spared you a glance before fixating his eyes back on what you presumed were his friends since you also didn’t recognize them.
“And a fierce one as well, no wonder the girls are falling at your feet left and right” you giggled as a playful glint shimmered in your eyes. He clearly had no clue who you were.
“Look, lady, I don’t-“ “(Y/N)” You quickly cut him off, amused by the way his eyebrows knit together “What?”
“My name is (Y/N)” you repeat yourself. A hint of realization flashed across his face, but only for a mere second because if you had blinked, you were sure you’d have missed it. Your name sounded familiar, but he couldn’t quite pinpoint where he had heard it before.
“I don’t recall asking” he huffed. He was determined to scare you away, but his rude and cold attitude only amused you even more.
“Well, Laxus, it is common curtsy for people to exchange names when they engage in a conversation” You emphasized the fact that you knew who he was, only confusing him more in the progress. Who were you? And why did you know who he was? Sure, he was a well-known mage, but most people cowered away in fear once they realized who he was, so why weren’t you? We’re you a mage as well? A member of a dark guild that was after him? When that thought crossed his mind, his whole body tensed. His sudden heightened defensive posture didn’t go unnoticed by you.
“Well, lady, I don’t know what you want from me, but I’m not interested” He turned his attention back to his friends, but kept his focus on you out of the corner of his eye. He didn’t trust you for even a second.
“I was just looking for a conversation, no need to get so hostile all of a sudden” You leaned back and held your hands up as a way to show him you had no bad intentions.
“Not interested” he mumbled as he didn’t even make an effort to look at you this time.
You observed him for a couple more seconds and let out a long sigh eventually. You placed your hands on the table, grabbing his attention in the progress, and stood up from your seat “Well, nice meeting you, Laxus, see you around”
You turned your back towards the dragon slayer and made your way behind the bar, “hey lady! That’s for guild members only-”
“Oh! (Y/N)-sama! I didn’t know you would be back today!” Hibiki was the first to notice you. Not even a second later, Ren and Eve appeared also by your side. “You should’ve told us! We would’ve thrown a big party for you”
You chuckled at his statement. How none of them are alcoholics yet remains a mystery in your eyes, “I know you would. You throw a party at every opportunity you get”
“You being gone for nearly a year is celebrating worthy” He defended himself, which made you ponder. Had it really been that long?
“Is that the angelic voice of (Y/N)-chan I hear?” Ichiya appeared out of nowhere with a glass of champagne which he handed towards you, which you gladly took “it sure is”
You and the four males continued to converse while Laxus made his way over to his friends, his eyes never leaving your form. “Who’s that?”
Freed eyes followed Laxus’ and rested on your body eventually. A small smile appeared on his lips, was Laxus interested in a woman? “That’s (Y/N) (Y/L/N), she's apparently the most powerful mage in this guild”
Laxus ears perked up at the sound of that. Were you finally someone that was worth sparing with? “Really?”
Evergreen shook her head at the smirk that appeared on her friend’s face, “Leave the poor girl alone, she just returned after being gone for almost a year”
“These are Laxus, Freed, Bickslow and Evergreen. They were originally Fairy Tail members but their guild disbanded” Hibiki explained as he went over everything you had missed in the past year.
“Laxus has been complaining that nobody’s strong enough to spar with” Eve piped up, making all eyes turn to the blonde.
“In that case, let’s have a go at it, dragon slayer” You challenged him, making Ren choke on his champagne “(Y/N), is that a good idea? You’ve just returned after a long journey; you should probably get some rest”
“Yeah, I agree, I don’t want an opponent who’s not gonna give it her all” Laxus spoke up. You chuckled in amusement, someone really needed to kick him off his high horse.
“Oh, Laxus, honey, you’re already under my spell” You smirked as you let the small threads that started from the tops of your finger appear. You had wrapped them around all of his limbs and his torso.
“What the-“ He tried to move, but nothing happened, making you chuckle. “You’re right, an opponent who isn’t gonna give it his all, isn’t worth my time.”
In a flash, you retreated the threads, making him able to move again “that’s (Y/N)-sama’s manipulation magic for you alright!”
“Rematch, I won’t fall for the same trick twice” Laxus challenged, the anger in him was slowly rising. How dare you play such an underhand trick on him.
You sigh as you cock your head to the side, “Fine, let’s go outside”
Your heels were clicking against the stones as you were the only one who made an effort to move this battle to a more open space, “You coming?”
Soon enough almost the whole guild was present outside as you and Laxus were standing opposite of each other “No holding back”
“I wouldn’t dream of it” The cocky smirk appeared back on Laxus’ face as he cracked his knuckles and let electricity spark around his body.
You eyed him suspiciously as you waited for him to make his first move. You knew he was frustrated, so you decided it would be best to let him blow off some steam.
In a blink of an eye, much like lightning, was he standing in front of you, ready to pounce on you with his electricity engulfed fist. You only managed to roll away just in time. He really was going all out on it. It didn’t stop there, Laxus summoned lightning bolt after lightning bolt, followed by him charging at you with his fists, all to keep you busy and prevent you from summoning your own magic. This went on for a couple of minutes, you got hit a couple of times, but nothing you couldn’t handle.
You were both panting heavily as scratches and bruises covered both of you. “It’s my turn now”
The treads around your fingers were much thicker now as you made them reappear. You didn’t waste a second as you pulled your hand diagonally across your body, only to put it back down, successfully using your treads as a whip. Laxus jumped back but didn’t manage to dodge it completely as his leg got grazed in the process, leaving a nasty cut where the whip had hit him.
He hissed in pain as he shot another lightning bolt at you, which you successfully dodged. You took in the damage you had done and cringed at the sight. This went against your morals. Laxus took notice of your hesitation and took that as an opportunity to charge at you with everything he had. You quickly snapped out of your haze, sending your invisible threads back out to manipulate his body, managing to stop his movements right before his fist hit you.
Your eyes were wide as you looked from the crackling fist to Laxus blue-greyish eyes. You would’ve been done for if that had hit you. Laxus was also taken aback by his actions. How could he have let his frustration take over so much? “(Y/N)-“
“I think we’re done here” You whispered, your confidence had vanished like snow in the sun, making the blonde wince at how vulnerable you sounded. You stepped back, letting your treads loosen around Laxus’s body and turned around, walking away from the guild and your near death experience.

And that is because I've only used this app recently but ever since then I've been interested in reading your blogs. Your writing is so captivating and I really enjoy reading them. "What do you think you're doing?" You squealed, yanking the spoon up out of reflex, making tomato sauce go everywhere as a result.
"Well, I was attempting to cook for us tonight," you said eyes you eyed the red spats on the wall, making a mental note to not forget to clean that afterwards.
"What's that burning smell?" Laxus audibly sniffed as his hand reached for the pot that contained the source of the vile scent. "No! Don't open... That"
Your protests fell on deaf ears as he proceeded to remove the lid, revealing the burnt food "how did you manage to burn pasta of all things?"
Laxus wasn't sure whether he found it hilarious or just straight up disappointing, he decided to just act indifferent out of respect towards you, but he was having a hard time not to let at least let one chuckle pass his lips "Well... It appeared I did not use enough water"
The dragon slayer cocked his head to the side as he tried to make sense of your mistake, "I see, and what about those vegetables?"
"What about them?" You turned your head to look at the said food you had neatly washed.
"Don't tell me you were planning on putting them in there without even cutting them" Laxus shook his head lightly as your mouth formed an o "I knew I forgot a step!"
"Darling, I love you and all, but please step out of the kitchen" the blonde was done with the fake understanding, fearing you might burn the house down if he let you cook
"Yeah... Maybe it's for the best" you mumbled as you grabbed the pot with the burned spaghetti and start emptying it in the trash can. Laxus silently start helping you by putting the vegetables back in the fridge.
While Laxus choose to be silent because he was afraid, he had upset you. You took his silence as him being annoyed at you.
The both of you continued cleaning in awkward silence until there was no more trace of your failed attempt at cooking.
You awkward stood against the counter as you stared at your feet while Laxus was standing on the opposite side of the kitchen, staring at the now empty sink "Laxus, I-" "Listen, I-"
You both look at each other as the words left your lips at the same time "you go first-" "you should go first-"
A chuckle escaped both your lips as your voices got mixed again "this is too weird, you go first"
"Agreed" a small laugh escaped your lips once again as you cleared your throat before speaking up "I'm sorry for the mess I made. I thought I'd do something nice since you were gone on a mission all day, but I just made it worse"
Laxus was taken aback by your words. Sure you had made a mess, but he had appreciated the thought and the attempt you made for him "you didn't mess anything up, (Y/N), I mean, you did, but it's not like I'm upset about it, on the contrary. I'm flattered you wanted to do such a thing for me. If anything, I thought I had upset you for belittling your work"
This time it was your turn to be surprised by his words, "it's not like there was anything to belittle. I literally burned pasta"
The room was filled with soft laughter coming from you both as you thought back on the horror scene that had only happened moments ago, "so can we stop this weird tension?"
"Yes, please" Laxus agreed as you both visibly relaxed, "how about I order us some food, and we watch a movie to put this miscommunication behind us?"
"I'd love that" while Laxus did what he said he'd do, you decided to turn the living room into a pillow fort, just to make it that tad little bit comfier.
"I ordered some pizza" Laxus announced as he crawled into the dark cosy space you had just created "they'll be here in like 10 minutes"
"Perfect," you said as you just finished setting up the television with your favourite movie.
"Do you have any plans tomorrow?" Laxus asked as you snuggled into his side until you found a spot that was comfortable, not that it took long because it was basically as if you fit perfectly next to him no matter what position you took.
"Hmm, I was thinking about maybe taking some cooking lessons" you pondered, making him roll his eyes playfully at your response "you're an idiot"
"Yeah, but I'm your idiot" you smiled at him which he took as the perfect opportunity to place his lips softly on yours, making you melt right into the kiss as you placed your hands softly on his chest while his much larger hands caressed your cheek softly. "Damn right you are"
"Why'd you ask?" You asked as you broke away from the love-filled kiss.
"I was thinking about taking you out on a date" making you place your hand over your heart to feign a hurt expression "is my cooking not good enough for you?"
"Keep that attitude up, and I'll tell everyone about the burnt pasta" he warned making you stick your bottom lip out to pout "you wouldn't dare"
"Try me" he challenged at the same time the doorbell ring, signalling the pizza had arrived. You took that as the perfect opportunity to jump up "sorry couldn't hear you over the sound of the doorbell"
You missed the loving lingering look Laxus send your way as you skipped out of the room to get your food. You were an idiot that was for sure, but it was like you said, you were his idiot, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
The second part of Jealously is awesome! I've been waiting for it, and the it'll come out when it'll come out is amazing as well. How's your health now? Hope you're well

He shouldn’t mind, he never spared it any thought before, so why did it bother him now so much? He’s used to your extreme friendliness, so why was it that he was only now getting annoyed by it? Was it because of Laxus? It couldn’t possibly be, he trusted the both of you with his whole heart. The only thing he was certain of was the fact that something didn’t sit right with him when he saw you and Laxus return from the job, shoving each other playfully around. He shouldn’t be surprised that you managed to crack Laxus, you had that effect on people after all, but for him also to break so easily? It just didn’t feel right.
“There you are!” your angelic voice filled his ears, and all of his worries he that had occupied his mind only seconds ago, suddenly seemed to vanish when you placed a short sweet kiss on his lips as a way of saying hello.
“How was the job?” Freed smiled down at you as he waited for you extravagant explanation you always gave when you returned from a mission.
“Laxus was totally exaggerating, he could’ve easily done the job by himself” You playfully roll your eyes at how he made it sound like you were the only one who could’ve helped him with the job “but it was fun! I finally got to see a more personal side of Laxus. I now truly understand why you admire him so much. He really is an amazing mage and surprisingly funny too!”
On the outside, the green-haired mage nodded along as you kept explaining all the ‘cool’ stuff Laxus did during the mission, while on the inside he wanted nothing more but for you to stop talking. He was acting petty, he knew it, he just couldn’t help himself “sounds like you two had a lot of fun, how about we end the day with a home-cooked meal and a movie?”
Freed was ready to leave these weird feelings behind and just bask in your love and affection, but you seemed to have other plans, quite literally for that matter “I would love to, but Laxus had already asked me to join him for some drinks to celebrate the success of the job”
“I see” he pressed his lips in a thin line as his eyes trailed towards the blonde mage. He knew he and his two other friends were planning something by the way they were talking and sneaking a glance at the two of you every so often. He just hadn’t quite figured out what. Did they have a bet that you wouldn’t be able to crack Laxus? Or was it something different?
He opted for the second option when Laxus appeared by your side, not sparing Freed even a glance “You ready to go?” The way Laxus hand rested on your lower back to guide you out of the guild, made the hairs on his arms stand up, but he refused to show any hint of annoyance.
“Bye, love, see you tonight!” You called out to Freed as you let Laxus guide you out of the guild.
The following days, the uneasy feeling never left Freed, in fact, it only got worse. He could feel his calm and composed act break, but he didn’t care. The anxiety and jealousy he was feeling were much more important than a stupid image. He still couldn’t wrap his head around what was going, and perhaps that was the most frustrating part of it all.
He shouldn’t feel jealous, he knows he shouldn’t. He knew you two would never do something to hurt you, he knew that deep down, and yet his mind kept playing tricks on him, sending him down the dark rabbit hole known as doubt.
It was only when Laxus willingly gave you a hug, that he decided he had enough “Okay, what the actual fuck is going on”
You were taken aback by the strong language coming out of your boyfriend's mouth. You didn’t know whether to be more shocked at the fact that he raised his voice out of nowhere or the fact that he just cussed at you. “I- What?”
“What’s going on between you two? And don’t you dare say nothing. You’re suddenly best buddies out of nowhere and decide to never leave each other alone for more than a second after that. Didn’t you two think that was at least a bit suspicious? You better come clean with me right now, or so help me God” Freed’s eyes were literally shooting fire as they darted between you and Laxus.
You had never seen this side of your boyfriend, and it kind of terrified you. Terrified by how he suddenly blew up without any warning. Did he give you any signs this past week? Were you being a horrible significant other for not hesitating for a moment and take his feelings into account? You should’ve known, but then again, why hasn’t this happened before considering you’re like this with everyone else too?
“Freed, I-“ You were still somewhat speechless, and before you could even sincerely apologize, you heard Bickslow cheering from behind you “finally!”
You whipped your head back so quick, you’re surprised it didn’t give you whiplash as you looked at him and evergreen who were now approaching you three “Took you long enough”
“It’s still less than a week” Laxus shrugged nonchalantly. Freed had cooled down a bit, but his eyes still held a hint of rage in them, “what the hell is going on?”
“Oh my, Freed, you sure get a foul mouth when you break your façade” Evergreen snickered while the said mage shot her a death glare, absolutely not in the mood for her snarky remarks.
“Can someone please tell me, us-” your eyes darted towards Freed for a mere second when you said that before eying your other friends again “-what is going on?
“Right, right. So, Evergreen over here was confused as to how Freed never got jealous over the fact that you’re so friendly with everyone” Once again you were questioning your qualities of being a good girlfriend “and then we realized that we had never seen Freed break his composed attitude under any circumstance-“
“so you thought, why not toy with our relationship?” the annoyance coated every word that left the green-haired mage’s lips. To say that he was disappointed in his friends was putting it mildly.
“It makes us look like bad friends if you put it that way” Evergreen mumbled as she looked away in shame. To be fair, she didn’t think Laxus would actually succeed in his job.
“Because you kinda are, right now” Freed sighed in disbelief at the obvious statement Evergreen just made “and for you to actually participate in one of Evergreen’s scheme’s, Laxus? What did they offer? You know what? I don’t care. Hope it was worth it.”
Freed stormed out of the guild, ignoring the shouts of his friends. You sighed deeply before finally speaking up as well “what you guys did, was kind of messed up, but I’ll talk with Freed about it and get him to soften up a little.”
“Thank you, (Y/N). We really never meant for this to happen. We’re so sorry” Bickslow apologized with the other two chiming in.
“Whether he forgives you guys is up to him, but I’ll see what I can do.” You hummed, ready to leave as well but stopped when you heard Laxus voice. “What about you?”
“Next time when you have an idea like that again, maybe stop and think about our feelings too. See you guys tomorrow” You gave them a small smile and actually left this time.
Once home, you immediately noticed a frustrated Freed, sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. “I’m home”
“(Y/N), I-“ You stop him before he can muster any more words “stop if you’re going to apologize, don’t. You had every right to act the way you did. I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner, now that I think about it. I’ve been acting like a terrible girlfriend and for that I’m sorry, I’ll do better from now on. I promise”
Freed quickly got up and took a couple of long strides before stopping in front of you. He placed both his hand on your cheeks, lifting it slightly, so you were looking him in the eyes “No, you stop that right now. You’re not a bad girlfriend, you’re the furthest thing from it. I knew what I would get myself into when I asked you to be my girlfriend. I didn’t expect you to change, nor do I expect that from you now. I’ve let my insecurities taken over whenever I saw you with Laxus, which I should’ve never done since I deeply love and trust the both of you.”
“You know I would never leave you for Laxus, right?” You whispered, scared that if you’d talk any louder your voice would break. “You should really give yourself some more credit. Laxus isn’t superior to you. In any case, you are superior to him”
“You only say that because you love me” he rolled his eyes, but appreciated your attempt at cheering him up nonetheless.
“Maybe, but does that really matter? You’re perfect the way you are, and I love you with every single cell in my body and believe me there are a lot” You joked lightly, trying to get rid of the tense mood, in which you succeeded cause you even managed to get a light chuckle out of Freed. “In all seriousness, though, I’m sorry I made you feel like you couldn’t trust me.”
“And I’m sorry for even doubting you in the first place” He removed his hands from your cheeks as he placed a soft kiss on top of your head while wrapping his arms around your figure, your hand automatically sneaked around his waist as you laid your head against his chest.
“You know, Bickslow, Ever and Laxus really didn’t mean any harm but that horrible stunt they did” you mumbled as you both swayed slightly from side to side.
“I know, I’ll forgive them eventually, I just want to let them dwell on it for a little bit more.” He hummed in agreement. You lifted your head from his chest to look at him with an amused smirk on your lips, “what?”
“You really do have an evil side when you get ticked off. Remind me to never get on your bad side” you shook your head in amusement before laying your head back on his chest, feeling the vibration of his laughter against the side of your head.
A/N: surprise update I guess? I have been feeling better today and got a surge of inspiration all of a sudden. This one has been requested by @exhaustedpotat0 I’m so sorry you had to wait for over a month for this to come out 😞 And I’m also not gonna turn this into a series, at least not yet. "Why does it look like you're the one carrying a baby in your for longer than 9 months?" you raised an eyebrow at Laxus as you stuffed another spoon of ice cream in your mouth.
You were leaning against the countertop while Laxus was staring you down from his position on the couch. He was surrounded by thousands of pillows while hugging one closer to his body. "You still don't feel anything"
"In case you didn't know, you asking that same question over and over again isn't gonna kickstart this process" you rolled your eyes at the question, having heard it at least once every five minutes.
"How can you be so calm? The baby is a week past its date" he exclaimed throwing the pillow off his body and sitting up straight while his hand frustratedly ran through his hair.
"It'll come out when it'll come out" you nonchalantly shrugged your shoulder, shoving another spoon of cold delicacy in your mouth.
Laxus was bouncing his legs in anticipation. He doesn't get nervous easily, but when it comes to the unborn child in your belly, every little thing that seemed remotely abnormal was enough to send him into a breakdown. "Can you stop that?"
"Anything?" Laxus piped up again, obeying your request in the progress. A deep sigh escaped past your lips as you closed the tub of ice cream before putting it back in the freezer along with the spoon in the sink "I'm going to the toilet"
You didn't really have to go, but you'd do anything to get a moment of peace right now. Truth be told, you were also kinda worried as to why the baby hadn't made an attempt to come out yet, but Laxus asking every 5 min whether it was time to go to the hospital yet for 7 days straight, was just becoming a bit much for you.
You let the sink run for a second, splashing some water in your face in an attempt to calm your nerves that were suddenly rising, and then it happened. At first, you thought you had peed your pants, but realization dawned quickly upon you. "Laxus! It's happening!"
Laxus burst through the door, eyes wide open as he took in your presence. "You've been on my ass for this past week, now is not the time to freeze!"
The blonde quickly snapped out of it as he helped you get your stuff and get you to the hospital. While the midwives were getting you ready for birth, Laxus send Freed a quick heads-up that it was finally happening, in less than a day, hopefully, your little angel would be born.
"Oh god, oh god" you panted out between the breathing exercises you'd learned during maternity classes "Laxus, I don't know if I can do this"
"Yes you can, (Y/N)" he grabbed your hand, letting you squeeze it as hard as possible, but when he saw the terror in your eyes, he got alarmed "Baby, hey, look at me" you twisted your head so you were now gazing into his greenish-blue eyes that would normally be able to calm you in heartbeat "it's going to be okay. You can do this. You've been looking forward to meeting our little angel from the moment you found out, remember? You got this, baby girl. You're the strongest woman I know, so if anyone could do it, it would be you"
A few tears escaped from the corner of your eyes as you took the encouraging words that left his lips in. He's right. You've been waiting for so long to meet your bundle of joy. A little, scratch that, a lot of pain will not come in between that moment "I love you so much"
"I love you too, Princess" Laxus placed a soft kiss on your head as he caressed the palm of your hand with his thumb, how his hand wasn't numb yet was a mystery to you "alright push"
Within six hours, your little girl came crying into the world. It was a rather big baby which wasn't really a surprise as she was a week too late. She had Laxus' blue-green eyes and your hair colour, making her a perfect mix of the two of you.
You were still catching your breath as you held the little human in your arms while Laxus had his arm wrapped around you, holding the both of tightly against his chest "you did amazing, princess"
"She's so precious" you whispered, afraid to break the slumber your newly born daughter was in. "Who would've thought we'd be able too much something as beautiful as her"
"How could we have not with such a good-looking mother as you?" Laxus took his eyes away from his daughter for the first time since she was handed to you, to look at you. Even now with you being sweaty and your hair standing in every direction, you were still the most gorgeous woman he had ever laid eyes on, however, you would have to share that place from now on with the little girl in your arms.
"You're such a flirt" you rolled your eyes playfully as you let your head fall against his chest before snapping it back up and looking at Laxus in realization "what?"
Your sudden movement startled him for a second but when he saw the small smile and tears of happiness brim in the corner of your eyes he relaxed again "mother..."
"Yes, our little one will have the best mother in the world, there is no doubt in my mind about it" Laxus gently caressed the cheek of his daughter as you placed a kiss on his cheeks "and it's all thanks to the amazing father that supports mommy and our little baby girl no matter what happens"
You placed your head back against Laxus's chest as he placed his cheek upon your head, both staring lovingly at the small human that had only come into this world only hours ago, vowing to love her unconditionally until the day you both die.
