BIO:
Born of a muggle father and witch mother, Caminy “Mina” Crowe grew up in an interesting way. Her parents drilled it into her that neither side was to be ashamed of… both had their own benefits. As such, upon turning eleven and going to Hogwarts, Mina not only had a great background in the history of the wizarding world, but also knew her way around all the latest muggle technology. Her ambition carried her into Slytherin house, and despite some persuasion to drop her less-magical hobbies, she’s spent six years with one foot in each world… much like how many people describe squibs, to her great annoyance.
Caminy doesn’t have any particular grudge against the new educational ordinance… one of two reasons that if anyone asks, she claims neutrality on the matter. Her biggest issue is that she no longer holds the monopoly on insight about muggle technology, slang, fashion, and all the things she has worked tirelessly to make “cool.” For every squib who lived out in the muggle world, Mina becomes a little less special. She can’t stand the thought. She never mentions her line of thinking to anyone, however. Who would she even talk to about it?
Mina likes to play things cool and carry herself with utter confidence. She lives for leadership opportunities and likes to torment stuck-up purebloods with the idea that anything they can do, she can do better. Despite this, some subjects are a struggle for her… mostly classes that involve wandwork. Though she tries not to consider it, sometimes the thought sneaks in: maybe the real reason squibs annoy her so much is because she wonders if she’s almost one herself.
PERSONALITY:

PLOT POINTS:
i. More than anything else, Mina wants to be the center of attention. She feels that Squibs threaten her goal. Despite her normal policy of getting what she wants discreetly, if it seems like any of these new students could get in her way or take the things that make her special… she might bend her own personal rules to deal with them.
ii. Mina has difficulty in any class that requires spells, including but not limited to Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Charms. It’s one of her greatest fears that she might be called out for this. To try and hide her issues, she will disappear for hours when there’s free time. Nobody knows what she does, and there are many rumors. What she really does is practice, practice, practice.
iii. Though she has manipulated, lied, and charmed her way into favor with the younger students, many Slytherins find her mixed heritage pride to be strange. Some are more vocal than others.
