As a rule of thumb Don’t assume you mean anything special to a person if they don’t show you and very confirm that’s how they feel. Don’t put on your detective hat and try to figure out if x means y and that leads to z. Because if a person cares for you, they will make it known. And you deserve a person that makes it known how much you mean to them

Sorry I hate posting things so neg its been a bad week. I have a splitting mystery headache (i have a suspicion it's related to quitting smoking cold turkey a month ago) and my grandma just died. :(

so a few weeks ago I was at the Brian Jonestown Massacre show at the Crescent Ballroom with my friend Laslo, we were there early so we were hanging out at the lounge drinking coca cola like a couple of bros. He starts talking about politics so I immediately tune him out and start using my smartphone, and Laslo was like “90s, you’re such a nihilist. You don’t care about anything.” and I was like “You got that straight, kemo sabe.” and then I drink like 2 more coca colas, and I’m super amped up from all the soda. I recognize a girl I know, Veronica, and I go up to her and her group of friends, they’re all like 20 something ASU college grad babes, and I go up to her and I’m like “Hey Veronica, have you realized that life is meaningless yet?” and she was like “90s, I thought I’d see you here.” because she knows Brian Jonestown Massacre is like one of my favorite bands of all time. One of her friends thinks I’m a loser and she doesn’t even say hi to me and tries to get Veronica to stop paying attention to me, I call Laslo over and the two of us are talking to Veronica and making her and her friends laugh really hard, except that one that doesnt like me… Then Laslo blows it and starts talking about politics, and everyone started to lose interest and eventually the girls were like “Ok, see ya.” and I turn to Laslo and I’m like “I hate you man.”

We go into the venue and watch the opening act and they were ok, but it got boring after 2 songs. I go up to Veronica and take her by the hand, and she follows me to the lounge, she was like “You’re such an asshole, 90s.” because we made out about like a year ago and afterwards we kinda just stopped talking and she blamed me, we go to the lounge area and I buy her a drink, and I’m asking her questions about what shes doing and trying to make her laugh, when she finishes her drink she gives me this look like she knows we’re going to make out and i know we’re going to make out

so we’re making out outside of the venue and like after about 4-6 minutes we’re done and shes like “ok im gonna go.. ” and i was like “i’ll text you sometime.” and she responded with “No, don’t 90s” and I asked her “Why?” she responded with “Because life is meaningless, 90s.” and i was like… it totally is, babe.

Hi, you don't know me but I saw the post about the card and I just wanted to say that you at least deserved a response from him and I hope you're able to find closure. :)
