One of my biggest pet-peeves is when nonblack ppl (especially nonblack poc) completely ignore that there are black ppl of pretty much every ethnicity/culture. Like there are black latinxs, black Asians, black Jews, etc…So if you are complaining about the hyper visibility of black ppl by saying “but what about my ppl”, remember when you say “my ppl” some of those ppl are black too and most likely they are treated like shit within their culture as well.

how to rp on discord

a step by step guide if you are just writing, not making a group.  step 1, create a discord account. you do not need to purchase nitro. step 2, find a discord rp. step 3, apply to said rp and be accepted. [ some have you apply by copying/pasting into a channel that anyone can see. some have you dm. some have you apply through tumblr or other websites. ] step 4, create your tupperbot. [ this uses a discord server bot to change your icon/name each time you want to post as a specific character. you can have many of these. instructions are usually in the channel or available somewhere on the server. it’s 1-2 commands and you’re done. ] step 5, post your intro in the channel that has been designated to you by the admin. this might be in a separate server to keep things organized. you are the only one allowed to post there. step 6, start writing. there are typically channels for plotting. there will be a system in place to create channels for threads (usually titled yourcharacter-theircharacter). you do not need to make a new channel for each thread. the other channels in the server will make it self-explanatory.  plus: mobile rping is easy and there are literally no cons. you can use gifs/pics if you want to but most of the time you don’t have to. 1x1 servers are a thing. you can do whatever you want there.

i miss having a rp bff, or just a bff in general but i also can’t stand almost everyone i meet in rp to a degree i went from always having someone to talk to, to never when i most need it
