I hate how they assassinated MePad in the last four episodes of season 4… I’m not talking about him being mad at MePhone4, it is in-character, I’m talking about how he teamed up with Taco (who one can argue did WORSE than MePhone4), his literal kidnapper, and basically became her #1 defender like… Why?

I knew DAMN WELL ABOUT THE POINT OF POPPY, what pisses me off is that they look NOTHING ALIKE LIKE COBS DUDE, and also it just feels that after they can't get along with Poppy, they gave a 360° on Metag saying they "don't trust Metag" SO HOW TF IS THEY ON SAFETY TEAM IF YALL DON'T REALLY TRUST THEY!??!?!? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD

Anyway, Fan, Test Tube and Paper execution cuz they are pissing me off this season to a whole new level

I completely moved on from ii I completely forgot i even liked it 😅 but i like checking up on people or just asking how they've been so I hope this ask is a change of pace thank you for making a critical space for such series! See ya around take care! 👋

Sometimes I wish ii didn't take itself seriously because it got scared to go through with it. I respect when a comedy show goes seriously but in the process of balancing it came off portraying things weird or iffy and I think that what those weirdos who deeply dislike need to come to terms with first. I wish I could still enjoy ii but that specific toxic side ruined any ounce of joy I had for it besides its flaws and strange season 4.

My favorite piece of media did this route except it got away with it because it was just story driven stuff with basic stories and development occasionally in a heavy episodic comedy show and it never tried to represent certain things or adress trauma maybe that would have been better off for such a show like this.

since they cant even let any ii characters acknowledge or feel bad for why mephone did what he did judging by what i heard with ep 1 I found it strange they just made fun of someone who they spent time revealing why they're like that. You can have sympathy for such a person like mephone and acknowledge they were terrible and not forgiven someone there must have had that characteristic. Even if they dont know we spent season 3 giving mephone a wake up call and holding him accountable like what was the point of that actually it felt a little bit pointless after the rest of season 2.

Regardless this is one big nonsense of a rant since I didn't even watch season 4 its just the impressions that ive heard made me feel this way stronger I dont care anymore if I got it wrong because at the end of the day I completely respect the directions and choices I hold nothing against animation epic and im sure ive already misunderstood something too its been awhile I wish people online would be like that more at least respectful.

lowkey i really agree with most of this! i do find it really petty how most contestants and others are making fun of mephone because of what he did when they couldve at least have more sympathy for him. i understand what he did is awfully wrong but, with the audience ii has, i dont really think thats an actual good idea?? i do think iv is fun to watch for the funsies, but besides that it isnt really interesting besides poppy's and metag's plot 😭 i know we really just started off but really wish it had a little bit more. now, it isnt exactly contest driven but more like exploring the aftermath of ii2 18, and i understand that its easier to sort by happenings and arcs via the competition, but i still wish they had found a way to just not really make it a competition instead of making it non competition and explored more well, the worldbuilding!!!! like choosing only certain characters to focus on (7,8 or even 12+ characters) so things could be a little more explored or clearer i dont. know how to explain.

Genuine S4 is making me go away from II

There's nothing wrong on the show, but most of the writing choices are making 360° choices on the characters choices, and is making me kinda upset to be honest, it feels all for the sake of drama than ACTUALLY MAKING SENSE 💔

I am glad Suitcase won, and Cobs died, but… Why does her winning feel so empty outside of the fact she killed Cobs? Like, she got no prize whatsoever, and the party (which was poorly timed, because it was on a funeral) was delayed… It sucks, because I still genuinely love Suitcase, second favorite season 2 debuter in fact. I don’t know if I’m the only one who thinks so though, and yes, it’s true II is more than just a competition show, but come on, can’t she have just a bit more fanfare?
