As my friends were having their own 24 h comic challenge some time ago, I decided to do a 24 h photo editing challenge. I was a part of a Shingeki no Kyojin photoshoot with other lovely cosplayers a week back, so there were a lot of pictures to choose from. Huge thanks to weenyah for photographing, holding the 24 h challenge and also letting me edit her pictures for my own challenge. I’m quite surprised these pictures came out as nicely as they did, although I can at least see in what pictures my tiredness actually took over. Also huge thanks to Henna for letting me borrow her jacket for photoshoot!

Day 12: Favorite bug type: #214 Heracross

tbh bug type is one of my least favorite types, but heracross

little sweet fighting beetle babies ;u; this is done as homage to my gut kicking lady 'cross Tornio, she's disapproving with ur shit

this was incredibly fun to make in the end, at first I couldn't get the pose to work at all and I was getting really frustrated, even thought of just drawing a super generic heracross based on the official art because I was getting desperate but then BAM this came to life and I'm so happy it did ;u;

Day 11: Favorite psychic type: #518 Musharna

Musharna used Nightmare!

The favorite psychic probably would take a lot of people who know me by surprise, since generally cute pink cuddly pokémon aren't exactly my favorites. I didn't like musharna (or munna) at all before my White nuzlocke when I got one and was pretty much stuck with it, she turned out to be an excellent sweeper and saved my sorry ass so many times it's ridiculous. I just can't help but to love this little frightening ball full of psychic prowess!

Day 10: Favorite flying type: #006 Charizard

Liking dragon types a lot, how could I not like charizard? Since I haven't ever played Red or Blue my childhood nostalgia fave is because of the anime, but seriously from the very first starters charizard would always be my choice. It was extraordinarily awesome to get one in X. ;u;

I'm not gonna lie, I'm super content on how this turned out! It was fun to color. *u*

Day 9: Favorite ground type: #445 Garchomp

long time no see! Sorry I've been quiet for about a month, a lot has happened and I've had my hands pretty full! I intend to finish this challenge by Tracon which is held from 13th to 14th of September so... better step up my game!

There's no way dragon types are my babies. Uh-huh. Nope. You definitely can't see that. Kidding aside, dragon and ghost types are totally my babies and it was terrible trying to fit as many as I could into the challenge... :,,,D I really love garchomp, c'mon a badass shark dragon! I'm really happy I had the chance to draw one. It wasn't a tough choice anyway, ground type isn't exactly my favorite type.

'TIS A NIGHT OF ART

I’ve had this sketch hanging around some while and decided to refine it to Founder's Callum quite a time ago, and since I couldn’t by any chance get it finished traditionally by the rollover I made something really wild. This is the first drawing I’ve ever colored digitally! I’ve made some vector work on school last fall but it hasn’t been quite the same, I’m like a 5 year old when it comes to digital art (and it shows I’m sorry) but what really drew me to draw Callum in the first place was his very bright, clear palette of white, black and red and I wanted to play with that. So this is simple, yeah, but I quite like it anyway! It turned out at least somewhat how I imagined it in the first place when I started coloring it an hour ago.

(mind you, he didn’t have that accent when I made the lineart tsk tsk)

this is the first thing I've colored digitally! It's simple, but I didn't even try to make it complex as I aimed for minimalist look c: took me about an hour to color, most likely several hours to sketch traditionally since I returned to an old sketch again and again before i was content with it.

I'm happy I made the leap to actually start from somewhere with this whole digital art thing, I made those few vectors last fall in school but this was completely different than working with Illustrator. Let's see if I can keep practicing with this!

Founder's Art Contest and Raffle over in FR’s Art Sales forum is nearing its end but I wanted to participate at least with one work, so I scribbled this! This is their lady snapper Alda. c:

One of the categories was “full body chibi” and let me tell a thing - I can’t draw cute little things. What is cuteness. What is simplicity. :I I do not know. So I tried. And… I think I need to keep trying. This turned out to be once again one of those “Weenyah smudges details for another five hours because they just can’t let go” oh god, like don’t get me wrong I’m pretty content on the end result but it also could be… cuter. :,> And less detail-y.

(sort of) commission for Latios! I craved for an Electricians Power Pack and traded art for it, this is their dragon Acid `u´

wow I had such a breeze with this, generally dark dragons are much more trouble coloring wise than lighter ones, but I didn’t have any problems with this whatsoever! It was also my first time drawing crackle and I was a bit worried about it since generally many artists seem to despise drawing it, but it must have been one of the easiest tertiaries for me :,D I really loved working with this! This was also the first spiral I drew since October when I joined and drew the first FR doodles, noodles are so much fun to draw it’s a shame I don’t get to do that much!

she’s beautiful and striking and makes the most expensive babies in my whole lair and she knows it well. She thinks (or more likely knows) to be too important to not have an important role in the ranks of my clan leaders, but since she’s so full of herself a fiery and sparking soul not everyone understands that well it was hard to assign her a role everyone would be satisfied with. Finally she landed herself a job as the dragon who keeps tabs of everyone’s breeding cooldowns, size of the lair, baby income and calendar plans for sending clan members to friendly clans in other flights to breed with the most desired element and eye combo.

(so basically she’s a bordel mama)

(and spends most of her time lounging in comfortable and airy and warm alcove in her pretty silks and scribbles dates and names in her calendar with pretty and winding penmanship)

(and has promiscuous and wild lesbian relations with hot dragon girlfriends)

(her mate Serqet is blander than his gorgeous mate and knows it sadly well, so he settles as a nervous male maid gigolo escort)

This piece was done traditionally (gosh it was a pain to get the colors so bright), mostly with watercolors, and I added some glow effect to Surya’s circuit with Photoshop. c:

dyndynDYY art for a change! I really thought I could had drawn a bunch of art of my own dragons and dump it all in the same post but no luck, I finished only two :,D so I decided to post these separately.

But yeah, I finally drew some Flight Rising art for myself as well! This is one of my dearest wildclaws, Saltar. He’s ridiculously ripped considering his pitiful wingspan so he doesn’t really fly, but he’s an incredibly fast runner. `u´

This is seriously some of the best I can offer coloring wise… :„,D I work the best with mixed media! Black base was done with black ink (hence the funny spots in the tail but I liked them so I didn’t try to cover them up), then smoothed with pastels, wings were mostly done with watercolors (god shimmer’s gradient is pain in the ass to execute traditionally), belly is shaded with markers and accent spots are made with black marker and white acrylic paint.
