About to have a really long rant about these Hanako x Yashiro moments in the Esoragoto Arc because it doesnt get the attention it deserves so here we go...
SPOILER WARNING FOR CHAPTERS 40-50 OF JIBAKU SHOUNEN HANAKO-KUN!
So during these chapters (Esoragoto Arc), Yashiro and Kou are trapped in a fictional world created by 4th school mystery. Yashiro is able to experience what it would be like if Hanako (Amane) was an actual student and was going to school with Nene for the first time. But, it's revealed towards the middle of the arc that Amane was actually Hanako the whole time.
So when you actually look at the manga again after finding that out. You can see how many moments they went through without Yashiro even realizing it.
Obvious Hints You Could See To Know If It Really Was Hanako There Or Not:
In some of the moments, you can see Hanako trying to stay in his 'Amane' character.
'Amane' separating Kou and Yashiro, something that Hanako does all the time.
'Amane' hesitating on leaving the school grounds.
Lastly, I noticed Amane's reaction when Tsukasa first appeared in the fictional world.
So that really is proof that Hanako was there the whole time, the date asking scene, the pool cleaning scenes, when they left the school, all of it. But I really just wanted to make a rant about this because not a lot of people in the JSHK fandom really talk about it much and it was bothering me because... THIS IS REAL HANANENE CONTENT. But, just the fact that Hanako was there the whole time just makes me all soft when I remember all of the moments they spent in that fictional world and the moments that wouldn't be possible without it.
