I don’t like that Harry ended with Ginny. Nothing against her, I just see too many tropes there. She 1. is the best friend’s little sister, 2. is the girl who wasn’t interesting, but a couple years later… bam! hot, 3. resembles his mother (not her personality, but don’t tell me anyone seeing a photo of Harry and Ginny wouldn’t think of James and Lily). I find the idea really boring. I wish JK had been more bold, or at least creative, with the choice for Harry’s love interest. Tbh, I’d be happier if he ended up single. Harry has gone through so much, I can see how he’d have trouble finding someone that was right for him.
I think you think that because of movie,Ginny was so BORING AND AWKWARD LIKE OFC HE WOULDN'T HAVE LIKED HER IN THE MOVIE AND NO ONE WOULD HAVE LIKED HINNY. but it's only because they didn't represent her the way she was supposed to be presented, honestly just looking at fanart and all these headcanons, I ship it more and more, day by day

Harry Potter/Hinny Headcanon
I think the reason some people don't think Harry and Ginny should be together is because of the way they portrayed Ginny in the movies, that's also why I didn't like movie Ginny. She was bomb at Quidditch, super attractive, funny, smart and extremely popular and the Ginny in the movies was super awkward and was just Harry's love interest and if you ask me they didn't pick the most attractive Ginny either. Harry sort of dived in in the movies and they didn't even show the way they interacted with each other.

You know what makes me upset? The fact that when Harry hit Draco with the Sectumsempra spell, he didn't say sorry, didn't say it was an accident, had not acknowledged what he did to Draco at all and it makes me feel so bad for Draco because even though Draco tried hitting Harry with an unforgivable curse, Harry actually hit Draco and never said anything to Snape or Draco. He was just crying and legit felt so overwhelmed because he didn't even want to kill dumbledore, after all..

Year one: School and teachers
Year two: Hogwarts and the chamber of secrets.
Years three: Ron’s trip to Egypt. Which got Hermione talking about her fascination with all things ancient Egypt. Which lead to Ron telling her the stories Bill told him about his work there. Which got Hermione talking about the muggle interpretation of the obvious magic used in ancient Egypt. Which got Ron asking about muggle interpretation of other magical things. Which lead to Hermione ask about the way Wizards view muggle technology and things of that sort. Which lead Ron to ask how muggle technology worked because its something his dad was always interested in. Which had Hermione asking why Ron’s dad was so interested in muggle things? Which lead to a conversation about growing up in the Weasley’s household. Which lead to a conversation about growing up in the Granger household.
This didn’t happen all in one sitting, but in bits and pieces throughout the year when Harry wasn’t around. They would be sitting in the common room when Harry was with Lupin and Hermione would randomly go,
“Exactly what type of cure breaker is your brother?”
“What?”
“I started thinking about how I only knew the muggle version of ancent Egypt and it had me wondering about the wizarding worlds version so..”
“You went to the library”
“Yes, and read there were two types of curse breakers, one for cursed objects and the ones that break curses placed on muggle archeologist who stumble into wizards tombs. Which is your brother?”
“The object one, but sometimes the curse is linked to an object so they have to work togeather. Bill told me about this one bloke…”
Year three when the crashes started developing. They found one thing that they were both fascinated by that slowing broke off into more personal conversations where they began to have a deeper understanding and like of each other.
Year four: Harry and the tournament. That whole year was about Harry and who was out to get him.
Year Five: They talked about their fears. How they feard for Harry, their families, the wizarding world, each other. Umbrage, Dumbledore, the ministry of magic.
Year six: They didn’t talk much year six.
Would be years seven: Very similar to years five but more urgent and littered with “If I don’t make it,” “Don’t you dare think like that,” Wonderings if the people they care about are Ok. And we know they talking about Harry not knowing what he was doing.
Omg thx for this, yah this is exactly what I was talking about, their convos outside of Harry's perspective. If you really think about it, they had feelings technically throughout all 6 years, and in year 7 they sort of just got together but we didn't really get to see them grow much.

HP & the 5th and 6th Headcanon
I just realized that the 5th and 6th books titles are so irrelevant, like in OoP, it isn't even circling around the Order, it just comes in the end when they are all fighting and in the HALF BLOOD FRICKEN PRINCE IS IN THE BOOK FOR LIKE A CHAPTER AND THATS IT, ITS SO IRRELEVANT TO CALL IT THAT LIKE IN THE CoS, IT WAS ABOUT THE CHAMBER AND IT HAPPENED PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE YEAR ROUND, SO DID THE PoA, AND THE GoF, THESE TWO BOOKS WERE SO IRRELEVANTLY CALLED THAT
I mean, I get it, they were so interesting and fun to read, but they all in all were not even about the titles they were placed in so it doesn't make any sense.
But then again, what would they be called if they were not placed in these titles?
