Whatever that outburst was, House would look into later. Now, there was business to attend to. “Do you have anything to report?”

Dan coughed into the crook of his arm before continuing. "Me an' Cachino figured it all out t'gether. Nero an' Big Sal were smugglin' in weapons into th' Strip. I distracted 'em both while Cachino took 'em out. I didn' have time t'get yer okay on th' matter, so I went for better judgement an' put Cachino in charge a'Gomorrah."

For a few moments the hum of the monitor was the only sound. “That was quite an show you put on back there. We’ll both try to avoid that in the future.”

"Y-Yeah. Sure was, House, sir. Won' happen again." Dan coughed awkwardly. With any luck, House would let sleeping dogs lie and not ask about it.

"So... 'bout th' Omertas..."

An audible sign came from the Securitron’s speakers. Irrational behavior or not, Daniel was House’s best (and only) employee. 

"Very well then." The green screen flash back to the stern grey of of a police man.

His fists were balled so tightly that his nails cut into his palm, stinging as the curved cuticles bit into the skin, leaving little crescent moons behind.

He took breath after breath. Waited for the blood to stop rushing through his ears. Waited for his heart rate to slow.

And he was okay. For now. Leaving the Securitron behind, he made his way back to the Lucky 38, silently past Victor and into the elevator. Once at the Penthouse floor, he timidly stepped in front of the large monitor.

"Sorry 'bout that, House, sir..."

"Anyone gotta tissue?" The courier held the heel of his palm to his nose. "Think I made that Fiend mad..."

"Heya, bud," Dan called, staring at the massive blue-furred shoulders of the creature in front of him. Definitely weird, but not the weirdest. And it was always good to be polite.

Especially since it was in front of the large blue postbox.

"If yer gonna park 'er here, mind slippin' this in?" He held up the box in his hands. "It's gotta get t'Vegas pronto."

"Boss, I don' mean t'doubt ya, but-" He hugged his arms tightly. Oh, god, he had to calm down now. "I jus'... th-think ya need t'get outta that Securitron an' back into th' big ol' terminal..."

Honesty, Hatred

HonestyDan is honest when he’s asked questions, however, there are subjects that he is less forthcoming with information, such as his past.

HatredDan doesn’t hate a whole lot, but does hate the Ultra-Luxe’s White Glove Society. He’d rather a cannibal be upfront and honest, then pretend to be normal.

Family, Friendship, Ambition, Sacrifice, Secrets, Introspection, Consequences.

FamilyDan has no blood family that he can remember, but firmly believes in family bonds that form through friendships.

FriendshipDan considers people to be friends easily, but he’s not as foolish as to believe that even friends are completely trustworthy. Only his closest friends - assuming he has any - have his complete trust.

AmbitionDan has no real desire to lead, but to follow and assist. His ambition is passive, and he himself is a patient man in that goal.

SacrificeDan is a martyr at heart, and will generally give up his own comfort for someone else. He’s the man to literally give you the shirt off his back.

SecretsThough he’s a generally straight-forward man, Dan holds secrets about his past and his family.

IntrospectionDan thinks very humbly of himself, sometimes to the point of putting himself down.

ConsequencesDan is very strict in suffering through the consequences of his own actions, but is very lax in that regard with others doing him wrong.
