Hey y'all. Sit down, take a deep breath, and remind yourself of this:

Writing is hard.

Writing is hard, yo. You are doing something that a great number of people would never even consider, and you’re doing it because you want to. Because you have something to say. And it’s hard, it’s so damn hard, but it’s worth it, because you’re doing it.

And hey, maybe it’s not your best work. Maybe you’re still struggling, a lot. But writing is hard, and the fact that you’re doing it at all says volumes.

Break It Up

It’s OK to take a writing break.  It’s OK to give yourself time to think about what you’re writing, to process notes, to let it circulate inside you like your blood.  Don’t be afraid to take a day or a few days to just think.  Or not think, and let it come to you.  It’s OK.
