Hello again! Personal words of wisdom: "If your back is against the wall and your exhausted, find the energy to take a baby step because a little progress is better than no progress." So, a visual progress report of work on the Stang in Need. Bustin' up areas of rust. I think these may be the worst of it as far as metal work is concerned, though the rust ninjas still lye in wait elsewhere (window seal area's Aaah!). The drip rails have bubblies and brown hair like cracks in the paint, but they dont apear to be too bad; most likely need to be sanded down and "threatened" properly... then treated properly :D Aside from what I can find visually (spotted areas around the car) she's a pretty lady. The OCD in me however is finding oddities like: paint blemishes under the clear coat and and subtle humps on body lines. Im wondering how much "Bondo" and filler was used... Well whats next is to take some of the "brown" down to metal and work on furthur smoothing out my welds to make em invisible. Flux core wire makes this difficult as it proves a challenge to lay clean welds. Stay tuned dreamerz! Aa
