I haven’t drawn myself in a while so I decided to do one since I could take my time and relax a bit after drawing 34 frames in 13 hours.

My name Dan (丹丹) derives from the Chinese word Peony (牡丹花). I decided to incorporate the flower in this piece and a purple butterfly for amethyst since it’s the birth stone for February.
Tears have always fascinated me and I’m a sensitive person so I decided to also add in tears. I don’t cry too often but I’ve learned to just let the tears out instead of holding them in, it calms me down faster. If I’m watching a sad scene in a movie, boom, tears flow. Sad book? Cry. Frustration? Cry. Panic? Cry. Anxiety? Cry.
