1 John 3:23 - And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
"And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." -Matthew 3:17
Spoken over Jesus before He'd done a single miracle — identity came first.
“How many times have I prayed…
“Lord, why do You keep answering my prayers when I haven’t always been faithful?”
I’ve had moments when I was distant.
-Moments when I doubted.
-Moments when I put other things before You.
-Moments when my prayers became inconsistent, but Your love never did.
Yet every time I came back, You never pushed me away.
Instead, You welcomed me with grace.
-You carried me when I was weak.
-You provided when I had nothing.
-You forgave me when I knew I didn’t deserve it.
That’s when I realized…
God doesn’t answer my prayers because I have been perfect.
He answers because He is FAITHFUL…
And every answered prayer reminds me that my relationship with Him has never been built on my goodness—it has always been built on His grace.
So today, my prayer is simple:
“Lord, help me to be as faithful to You as You have always been to me.” 🙏😇
From: “Buhay Kristyano 6.33” (FB)
Amen. 🙏
And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. - Genesis 1:16
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just, because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father who sent me." - John 5:30
Perfect unity between Father and Son, even in judgment.
"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son." - John 5:22
Authority given fully, not shared reluctantly.
"And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me." -Luke 22:29
A kingdom passed from Father to Son, and then extended to us.
"For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son." -John 5:22
Authority given fully, not shared reluctantly.
"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God." -Mark 10:18
A question that quietly points every eye back to the Father.
"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he hath given us commandment." -1 John 3:23
Belief in the Son was never meant to stand alone from love for one another.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
The most famous verse in Scripture is still the simplest picture of love.
Philippians 4:6-7 "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Anxiety loses its grip the moment we hand it over instead of holding onto it.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." -Philippians 4:13
"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
Feeding the 5,000 (John 6:11)
"Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated." — John 6:11
He didn't wait until there was enough. He gave thanks first. Gratitude before the miracle is still faith in action.
