Breaking Bad

I'm nearly there, just starting episode 2 of season 5.

It's getting so exciting!

Waiting for the sproglet to go to bed and then I can get a few more episodes in before I have to go to bed to be up for the preschool run!

Maxen's started bringing chicks home already?!

As I age on wards I can't decide if I have shed old skin or grown thicker layers! (not literally speaking obvs!)

Some things that were heart wrenching and dramatic at the times in which they happened, now seem so minor in hindsight. If I could go back and tell my teenage/early twenties self that things really aren't that bad and not that big of a deal, I'd hope my younger self would listen but knowing my younger self; that would not be the case!

When I look at the last 10 years or so of life I think a few things:

Firstly, I think that it doesn't seem that long ago that I was out every night of the week and still going to work for 7am the next morning without a care in the world! Where has the time gone?!

Secondly, and more majorly so than the first, is how much of a different person and people, myself and my friends have become. We have all aged together and moved on with our lives and grown with our own unique personalities (obviously we couldn't live our previous ageless lifestyles forever!) but for some people they have not moved on, they have not progressed or changed in any way from 10 years ago. They still act like the people I recall from those "Old days" but now instead they are living in the "New days" and acting 10 years too young.

I still don't know if I have shed old skin or grown thicker layers but I know people that haven't done either, and I hope they too will one day realise that things really aren't that bad and not that big of a deal.
