Bash and Kenna!

A: I love it

Such a gloriously wonderful pairing! (This show was really good at creating gloriously wonderful pairings and really disappointing at follow-through.) I love to imagine that one day Kenna goes back to Scotland during the Mary’s Really In Trouble stage, and Bash (who has come back from druid school and probably lives in a remote rustic cabin in the deep woods like a convenient 15 minutes from Mary’s castle) reunites with her in a pragmatic, we’ve-got-to-watch-out-for-our-poor-friend-and-queen kind of way that quickly leads to the thawing of their bitterness and the rekindling of their feelings.

Also, Kenna of course brings her kid with her, and I’ve decided that kid is a daughter. Said daughter forms an unexpected bond with Bash, since she is sort of a surly tomboy who just wants to adventure around in the woods and go hunting and fishing and not have anything to do with court or manners or fine clothes. Kenna is outwardly mystified by both her kid and her weirdo estranged (turned less estranged) husband, but on the inside her heart is very full. They live as happily ever after as two people can whilst witnessing the tragic downfall of their beloved friend/queen.

… I’ve made literally this exact same post before, haven’t I? No matter! It brings my soul glee.
