i find it so strange that conrad (the embodiment of elias' sense of right and wrong) is a small, very scared, child. i have a feeling conrad won't stay small the whole time. once the bbeg is defeated and ambition and logic are no longer elias' primary motivators, conrad will have a magical-girl transformation of some kind and become the new mayor or something
