After much thought and debate, I’ve decided to leave the BVB Army. I won’t get into why (if you’re a close friend, you will understand why). I don’t want to start drama or spill “tea”; I just feel like it’s time.
This doesn’t mean I won’t write for individual members (if the inspiration hits me), but it won’t be on this blog. Please go follow @descentintobandom to read anything I post. I might come back to this blog again, but I just don’t see that happening.
I hope you guys understand. This blog will remain up as I have put a lot of work into it, but I will not be posting here any more.
My name is Haley Michelle and this where my original writings live. I primarily write fanfiction, so there's a chance you've already read some of my work.
I hope to be professionally published one day, so those stories will go here for the time being.
ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine going to a Christmas wedding with CC
PAIRING: CC/OFC
RATING: T
SUMMARY: Amelie and CC attend a Christmas wedding.
Amelie entered the ballroom.
Being a Christmas wedding, everything was covered in silver and gold decorations.
“Oh, Chris! Isn’t everything beautiful?” Amelie cooed. Amelie was the only person aside from his family who used his given name, but CC didn’t mind it.
He looked around and said, “It’s nice”.
“Nice?” Amelie playfully rolled her eyes. “Honestly, you have no class”, she teased.
“Well not all of us have a degree in interior design. If we got married, you’d probably be giving orders about where to put things”.
“No, that’s what a wedding planner is for”.
“Let’s just go find our seats before you start rearranging things”.
“I only did that once!” she said as she followed him.
They took their seats and people slowly trickled in.
Amelie couldn’t keep her eye on one spot for long. She stared at the flowers, then the decorations, then the arch in the front of the room, and then back to the flowers.
CC loved seeing her take in her surroundings with a childlike curiosity and wide eyes. It’s part of what drew him to her.
Soon enough, it was time for the wedding to start. The ceremony was just like any other ceremony.
If her and CC ever got married, Amelie would have the ceremony and vows be funny and make people laugh. Mostly because her and CC were known to be goofballs when they were left alone with each other. They also were responsible for pulling pranks on the guys while on tour.
The bride and groom said “I do” and then kissed. It was simple peck on the lips.
She knew CC would probably kiss the living daylights out of her just to embarrass everyone watching. He frequently did it on the tour bus.
Not that Amelie ever complained.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
When they entered the reception hall, Amelie’s mouth dropped open.
It was a crystal winter wonderland. The room was bathed in blue light and everything was sparkling.
It was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen.
CC laughed seeing the look on her face and led her to their table.
They were seated with mostly strangers, but Amelie didn’t really like talking to people she didn’t know.
The centerpieces had fake diamonds hanging from the vases and the flowers in them were red and white. It was looked incredibly expensive. Hell, it probably was.
A lot of Amelie and CC’s friends were in the entertainment industry, so every event (including a wedding) was over the top. Everyone was trying to outdo each other. Typical Hollywood.
Amelie, however, didn’t buy into it.
“Careful, son. Your girlfriend looks like she might be getting ideas”, the man sitting next to CC said.
Amelie shook her head. “I’d never want anything as extravagant like this. Something simple. Maybe at a ranch in a barn”, she said, lightly stroking the flower petals.
Another thing they had in common. They like simple things. A barn wedding sounded perfect to CC.
Once everyone was in the reception hall, the newlyweds came out and toasts were made.
Amelie didn’t talk much during dinner, preferring to casually eavesdrop on conversations around her.
The couple cut the cake and then the real party started.
This was why Amelie came to weddings. To dance.
The music wasn’t the kind CC or Amelie would ever listen to with lots of slow ballads and love songs, but it gave them plenty of opportunities to dance with each other.
“I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna need some heavy music on the drive home”, Amelie told him, “I don’t know how many more ballads I can listen to”.
“You got it”.
Amelie set her head on his shoulder as they swayed, oblivious to the ring that sat in CC’s jacket pocket.
He’d planned on proposing to her at the wedding, but changed his mind not wanting to upstage the bride and groom on their own wedding day.
No. He would wait.
Instead he would propose to her on Christmas morning.
ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine performing at an open mic night and not telling Andy. He shows up at the bar to watch you when one of the guys tells him about it
PAIRING: Andy/OFC
RATING: T
SUMMARY: Rachel is performing at a karaoke bar and Andy shows up after CC lets it slip.
Will I see you tonight? – A
No, I’ve got something to do. I’ll see you later. *kiss* - R
*pout* Okay. Love you – A
Love you too! – R
Andy sighed as he put his phone down.
“What’s wrong?” Jake asked him.
“I thought maybe Rachel would come hang out with us tonight”.
“She’s performing at an open mic night”, CC said offhandedly. He looked up to find everyone looking at him. “What? Was I not supposed to say that?”
Ashley hit him on the arm.
“Ow!” CC muttered, rubbing his arm.
Ashley rolled his eyes.
“She didn’t tell me”, Andy said.
Ashley sighed and said, “Because she didn’t want you know”.
“But…but why? Doesn’t she want to be there?”
“I think she was afraid she’d been too nervous to go on if you were there”, Jinxx told Andy.
“Where is she performing?” Andy asked, pulling out his phone.
“A karaoke bar downtown”, CC told him. CC gave him the addresses and he put it in his phone.
“I guess we’ll see you later then”, Ashley muttered, but Andy didn’t hear it. He was too busy throwing on his jacket and grabbing his keys.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Andy arrived at the bar as Rachel stepped out on stage. He stood in the back, cloaked by shadows.
She looked beautiful dressed in black skinny jeans, a tank top Andy recognized as one of his own, and a leather jacket. She gripped the microphone as the music started. “This is a man's world, this is a man's world. But it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl”.
Rachel’s voice was hypnotic and everyone in the bar stopped what they were doing and watched her. She was a siren and they were the sailors throwing themselves onto the rocks.
The song ended and the audience erupted into applause.
Andy was the loudest.
Rachel’s eyes met his and she smiled softly.
Andy gestured to the bar with his head and she nodded.
On her way to the bar, many people stopped her to congratulate her on her performance. “Thank you”, she said in her sweet voice. Finally she made it to Andy and he wrapped his arms around her.
“You were amazing”, he told her.
“Thank you”, she said looking up at him.
Andy leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. “Can I buy you a drink?”
“I don’t know. I have a boyfriend. I don’t think he’d be very happy”.
Andy smirked. “Well what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him”.
Rachel playfully rolled her eyes as she pressed her lips to his again.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
After they got their drinks, Andy found them a booth to sit in. “So why didn’t you tell me? You know I would support you in everything you did”.
Rachel shrugged as she played with the straw in her drink. “I know. I just didn’t want to get my hopes up. I would have felt embarrassed if you were here and it went badly”.
“I never knew you could sing like that”.
Rachel blushed. “I’m not that good”.
“Not that good? Babe, everyone was hanging onto your every word. We could get you a record deal and…”
“No”.
Andy looked at her.
“I don’t want to be famous. I just sing for fun”, she clarified, “It’s just a hobby”.
“Well maybe we could do a duet or something. I’d love to sing with you”.
#BlackVeilBrides #TheNight #SaintsOfTheBlood Black Veil Brides prepare to spend “The Night” with you. The acclaimed metal unit are furthering their commitment to their fans—and they’re completely lit about it. There’s all kinds of things happening in the #BlackVeilBrides camp, and AltPress is in on the ground floor. Prior to the holiday, the band—vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jinxx and Jake Pitts and drummer Christian Coma—filmed a video for us explaining how they are changing things for 2020. The first bit of news is the recruiting of bassist Lonny Eagleton to the ranks of BVB. Fans who attended the #AndyBlack #GhostOfOhio tour will remember Eagleton as the man holding down the low end while being the straight-man for all of Biersack’s jokes. As the video will reveal, his personal commitment to #BVB started loooong before he got on a tour bus with Andy Black. (Keep your eyes open for the story about having a Set The World On Fire phone case.) Regarding record releases and new music, the band have decided to take a page from the hip-hop playbook. Biersack says the band will be creating “duologies,” essentially two-song singles that will be released with greater frequency. Instead of going through the time-consuming process involved with the creation of a full-length album, new songs will be delivered with greater immediacy with all of the artwork and touring schedules in support of the release. The first duology will consist of the songs “The Night” and “Saints Of The Blood.” The latter song was created from riffs and melodies Pitts had from years ago, with Jinxx adding his classical sensibilities into the mix. “With the feeling of nostalgia on this one, going back into the time when we were doing the rerecord [of We Stitch These Wounds],” Biersack begins, “the idea was to add two songs that felt very much like the band that we were in the past and maybe strayed away from [and] return to that form. “Quite honestly, when you’ve been a band as long as we have and put out five full-length records, EPs and everything else, you want to do new stuff,” Biersack says. “I think this is a model that we’re really excited about, and moving forward, it’s a sustainable model that we can do, something that allows us to write songs together and release music, do music videos and artwork, bring it to people and say, ‘This is the new thing.’ And then half a year later, there’s another new thing.” Later on in the clip, Biersack goes on to acknowledge how BVB’s mighty fandom has been with them every step of the way (“There was never a fan-voted award that our audience didn’t make sure we won”). Coma enthuses that he’s grateful when he sees fans getting something BVB tattooed on their bodies. The band also have their fair share of mind-equals-blown memories. From playing on bills with their favorite bands (who jumped into Metallica’s snakepit?) to WTF-moments headbanging to a packed house on a Russian tour to a certain member fantasizing about tour bus engines, there’s plenty of solid rocking memories to be shared in the clip. Biersack eloquently sums up the band’s impetus for all of the big changes afoot in their future. “Our goal is to say thank you to the fans for giving us this amount of time by proving that we’re worth it,” he says. “If someone lets you stick around making music for a decade and still gives you the opportunity to do that, that’s a really cool thing they’ve done for us. And it’s worth repaying the favor.” Make sure to Subscribe! Lonny seems like a perfectly nice person. As much as I’m still getting over Ashley leaving, I’m sure Lonny will fit in with the guys and respect Ashley’s memory (since he’s a fan and everything). I’m not saying he’s going to be joining the blog immediately, but we might get there one day.

ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine Andy getting a call that you’ve been hurt right before he has to go on stage
PAIRING: Andy/OFC
RATING: T
SUMMARY: Andy’s girlfriend, Briar, is late to the concert and Andy has a bad feeling.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: I’m going to try and write more on this blog. I’ve got a couple of imagines that I’m currently eying and I’m gonna start Christmas one’s soon.
Andy sat on the couch in the green room anxiously spinning his phone in his hands.
“Calm down”, Jinxx told him, “I’m sure she’ll be here”.
“Something’s wrong”, Andy said, “It’s not like Briar to be so late”.
“She’s probably just stuck in traffic”, Ashley reassured him.
“Guys, you’re on in 15 minutes”, their tour manager told them.
Andy reluctantly got up from the couch and got ready, all the while staring at his phone.
If she was going to be late, she would have called or texted him, right?
Andy made his way to the techies who helped him with his in-ears and handed him his microphone.
The band before them had finished their set and now it was time for breakdown and setup.
Soon their intro music started and Andy’s phone started ringing. He pulled out his in-ears and answered it.
“Andy! We’re on!” Ashley yelled at him over the music.
Andy waved him on. “Briar?”
“Is this Mr. Andy Biersack? You’re listed as Miss Wollitzer’s emergency contact”.
“What happened? Is she okay?”
“Andy!” his tour manager yelled at him, “Get on stage!”
“Miss Wollitzer was involved in an accident. She was hit by a drunk driver, but she’s in stable condition. It was mostly bruises and sprains so we’ve got her on pain killers”.
“Okay. I’ll be there in a few hours. If she wakes up before I get there, can you tell her I’ll be there as soon as I can?”
“Of course”.
“Thank you”, Andy said and hung up. He handed his phone to his tour manager and ran out on stage.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Andy was on auto-pilot the whole concert, while still interacting with the crowd and being the charismatic front-man he was. But the moment he stepped off the stage, Andy grabbed his phone and said, “Someone get me a cab”.
Jake nodded and went outside to try and flag one down.
“Andy, what’s going on?” Jinxx asked him.
“It’s Briar…she…she got hurt”. Andy’s head was swimming and he felt like he might pass out at any moment.
“Oh my god”, CC said.
“She was hit by a drunk driver”, Andy told them, “I’ll let you guys know how she’s doing”. Andy grabbed his jacket and got in the cab. When Andy arrived at the hospital, he ran inside after paying his fare. “Briar Wollitzer. She was brought in earlier. Drunk driver”.
“Are you family?” the receptionist asked.
Andy was close to screaming, but he kept his cool. “No, but I really need to see her. Do you know if she’s woken up?”
The receptionist typed Briar’s name into the computer and then picked up the phone. When she got off the phone, she said, “The doctor will down in a few minutes to collect you. Apparently she’s been asking for you”.
Andy took a seat and sent a group text telling the guys she was awake.
“Are you the young man Miss Wollitzer is asking for?” a doctor asked him.
Andy shot out of his seat. “Yes, can I see her?”
“Of course. Follow me”.
Andy nervously played with the zipper on his jacket as they rode in the elevator. Andy smiled when he heard loud music coming from one of the rooms. “I think we found her”. He followed the sound of the music and walked into the room.
Briar was sitting up in bed, watching a video on her phone.
Andy loudly cleared his throat.
Briar looked up. “Andy!”
Andy smiled and walked up to her.
She grabbed his leather jacket and pulled him down for a kiss.
“Hey, how you feeling?” he asked her.
Briar shrugged. “A little sore, but still alive”.
“I was really worried about you. Especially when I didn’t hear from you”.
“I’m sorry”.
“What happened to you wasn’t your fault. Did they at least get the guy?”
Briar nodded. She got quiet and started playing with the blanket on her legs. “It was pretty bad”. She didn’t elaborate, but Andy didn’t want to push her.
“Did they say when you could go home?”
Briar shrugged absentmindedly.
“I’ll go ask someone”, Andy said. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her head. “I love you Briar”.
“Love you too”.
Andy smiled before pecking her on the lips and leaving the room.
