He’s so good at coming up with creative places to hang out and be with someone. Reno knows all the seedy places in town, but he makes the kind of money where he can afford the best of those seedy establishments. So the places he goes for dates are very hidden, but unique and amazing. 

Reno will take any opportunity to sing. Carpool karaoke, singing in the shower, anything. He’s not the best, but he’s got a lot of performative energy that it doesn’t matter.

He’s so excited about the idea of moving in with you! He’s not especially organized, so he moves his things in very sporadic patterns, but everything comes over eventually. 

Zack is great at cleaning. He is relentless about cleaning stains. He’s not the best at keeping organized, and he isn’t especially neat. But once a week or so, he’ll do a huge clean on your home. 

As great as Zack is at cleaning, he’s not as great at cooking. He lived on take-out and other people’s good graces until you moved in together. Hopefully you’re better than him? 

Bedding down every night is like a sleepover every night. For the first month, Zack is practically giddy every time you go to sleep because he’s so excited. That’s not just his bed, or your bed, it’s “our bed.” 

Buying shared things is fun for him. He likes collaborating and getting something together that is a space for both of you. Someone is probably going to have to keep him on task (whether that’s you or Angeal) because he’s going to get really carried away about it.

Everything that Jecht does is huge and showy, and asking out the person he has a crush on is no exception. Screw Tidus’ “If I do this gesture, it was a goal for you.” Jecht interrupts an interview with his team and says that he will win every single match this season if his crush agrees to one date. 

If there is some unfortunate human who unknowingly asks out someone Jecht is dating, they don’t have a chance. “Get lost, loser. This one’s out of your league.” If they have the brass balls to do it knowingly, Jecht is pretty likely to hunt down the person who asked his crush out. Depending on how drunk he is at the time, he might get slapped with an assault charge.

Headcannon request for ff10 characters on cuddles?

Tidus: He’s such a cuddle king, but also likes to pretend that he isn’t. That being said, he will curl around his cuddle partner and bury his face in their hair. 

Yuna: Physical affection is probably one of Yuna’s love languages, so expect a lot of this. She likes to run her fingers through her cuddle partner’s hair. 

Auron: His cuddle partner will have to talk him into cuddles, but he’s not opposed to it. That being said, he’s among the best cuddlers because of those arms. 

Kimarhi: Runs warm, so summertime cuddles are not advised. Is that purring? 

Lulu: She’s a hugger, but not quite a cuddler. That being said, she likes them, and will probably hum to her cuddle partner. 

Wakka: Definitely a hugger, fond of the headbutt cuddles. Mostly uses cuddling as a soothing technique. 

Rikku: She’s cuddly in the same way that a golden retriever is cuddly. She’s also pretty squirmy and constantly changing positions in the cuddle. 

Jecht: Pretends like he’s so above cuddling, but loves it a lot. Playing with his hair means that you’re going to put him to sleep.

Chocobros Asking For A Kiss

Noctis: He doesn’t really know how to “ask” for a kiss, but he’s also not ballsy enough to just come up and kiss his s/o. His compromise is intentionally looking as kissable as possible and hoping they take the hint. 

Prompto: When does Prompto not want a kiss? The good news is that he’s okay with asking. He still gets a little flustered when he gets what he asked for, even if he’s been in this relationship for years. 

Ignis: Probably the most well-adjusted about it, but also doesn’t ask for a kiss very often. They just sort of happen when he hugs his s/o. When he does ask, it’s because he needs it. 

Gladio: The most forward, but he doesn’t ask verbally. He might get his s/o’s attention verbally, but how he gets his kiss is by tilting their face up to him and going in for one very slowly. 

Bonus!

Luna: Very sweet and straight-forward about it. If her s/o is busy she pretends to be a little impatient about it (”I’ve been waiting for a kiss for five seconds and it feels like an hour.”)

Ravus: Doesn’t know how to ask for a kiss. Has never had to, and doesn’t know how to do it without “looking weak.” Please save him. 

Ardyn: He’s so suave about getting kissed. His approach is similar to Gladio in that it’s very physical, but he’s also good at convincing his s/o that they wanted the kiss, and he’s just obliging them.

Seeing the final trailer and waiting for Friday for the game to be out, I want headcanons of Rude being a gentleman in the bedroom (he needs the love, all right?).

Rude deserves a lot of love.

When he’s taking someone to bed, he needs an element of seduction. Either him seducing them, or them seducing him, but he’s not just going to hop into bed immediately. There needs to be a little chase.

Aaah I hope this doesn’t sound corny but may I please have some platonic headcanons for a very self conscious and anxious female that’s friends with Aerith and how she would help them? She’s honestly such a comfort character for me and she really helps💖Thank you so much again

You know that classic “extrovert adopts introvert” idea, where some super bubbly loud person adopts the shyest human imaginable? That’s Aerith and her friend. 

Aerith would do a lot of things to make her friend comfortable, anything from checking her own energy to make sure she isn’t overwhelming her to advocating for her friend’s needs. That being said, she might have some trouble taking “No, I’m not doing that” for an answer and needs to be talked down. The magic word is “uncomfortable.” 

Very affectionate friend. Hugs, high-fives, platonic forehead kisses; the works. She also holds her friend’s hand a lot and has fielded the “Are you two dating?” question more than once. 

During sleepovers, Elmyra tries to say that she gets the guest room. Aerith tries to give her friend her own bed “because its more comfortable.” What ends up happening is her friend sleeps in Aerith’s bed and Aerith falls asleep on the floor.

I never really know how to write Squall, since I’ve only ever really finished the first disc. But I know he goes through such a HUGE amount of character development during the game, which is probably why portrayals on him are so confused.

overall, Squall’s kinks tend to be on the side of things that take time, or sensory-related ones, if he’s in a kinky mood. once he kinda lets down that wall, I think he’s way more into the romantic side of love (which is not to say that kink can’t be romantic)

He’s not really into bondage because of what happened to him in the Galbadia prison, but he might do rope harnesses if his partner wants. he likes the precision of having to do the knots and being able to touch his partner a bunch to tie them, if nothing else. 

he’d be really into being blindfolded and then touched– anywhere, really, but get your hands where he really wants them, and he’s just… a puddle. completely at your mercy.

generally, he avoids pain play, but biting is all right. just heavy on the suction, light on the teeth ;D as an addendum, he’s really really into having his tongue sucked, though I don’t know if that’s kinky, per se

In one word, poorly. Rude cannot contain himself when he has a crush, and it gets to the point that everyone around him knows it. He stammers, he hides his face, he takes their side no matter how absurd their argument is, and he goes out of his way to do favors for them. His crush will probably know before he ever says a word, depending on how savvy they are.

Laguna Loire, Kuja and Jecht. How would they handle their s/o going on a long trip without them?

All of them are kind of sad about it. If it’s for work, they’ll understand, but they’re all also very disappointed that they can’t be there. They handle it differently though. 

Laguna will sort of “hold the line” at home. He goes about business as usual, but tries to call a lot. He gets into the long phone conversations, three or four hour calls, and makes it a point to say “I love you” a bunch of times before he’s off the phone. 

Kuja will pout and mope for a while because he wasn’t invited. Even if his s/o had to go away for work, he still should have been given the option to come along and it’s not fair. Pouty, but also desperate for communication. Like Laguna, he does the long phone calls, but also very long goodbyes on those calls. The only reason he stops the call is because his phone dies. 

Jecht will do the pouting thing for about ten minutes, then go “Wait, I’ll just follow them.” So his s/o is minding their own business and suddenly Jecht is there! Such a strange coincidence that his manager assigned him to train precisely where his s/o is, for just as long as his s/o is there. It gets even more convoluted if his s/o has to move from place to place. If confronted, Jecht will come out and admit it though.
