Steve: Outdoor movie night
Growing up, movies were rare in the age of radio, but Steve still savors the memories of him and Bucky saving up to see movies at the local theater. Now, so much has changed and movies have a lot more color, sorta like the brightness you put into his life.
A cozy outdoor movie set up on a projector, sitting on plenty of pillows and blankets with popcorn is the perfect idea of a date to him. There's enough nostalgia and something new for him to feel comfortable. It's simple but sweet, a little bit like himself. Plus, it's an easy excuse to hold you close. Maybe you can help him figure out a few of those references?
Tony: Classic wine'n' dine
If he didn't go all out, would it really be Tony? He's rich, and he's knows it, and he likes to remind you. You refused to take the private yet as a first date saying it was too much. Finally, you settled on a nice dinner at one of the best places in the entire city, wearing a dress Tony bought you just for the occasion after hearing you mention to Natasha how much you wanted it.
Tony tries pulling out all his old charms, but after dinner? The two of bring dessert back to the lab where you both ramble about new invention ideas. At heart, Tony wants to be accepted for himself by someone who understands what it means to think outside the box
Wanda: Baking together and binge-watch
When Wanda cares about someone, she lets them see the parts of herself she keeps so hidden underneath her strength. To her, watching her favorite shows she grew up with is like a peek into a memory- a nostalgia only she knows. So yeah, now you're stuck watching re-runs of "I Love Lucy" and "Modern Family," but it means a lot more to her than you know. Of course, what would a night in be without snacks? The two of you bake some cookies together and make a mess in the Tower kitchen that will have to be Tony's problem tomorrow. Why? Because right now, all she wants is to have you curled up by her side under the TV glow.
Natasha: Training together
Okay, so when you had gotten the courage to ask one of the best assassins in history out on a date, you had expected to treat Natasha to a nice dinner. Never did you imagine you would be in for an afternoon of being thrown to the mat over and over while the two of you sparred, but you couldn't complain, seeing her smile after she won again.
Natasha needs someone who can fight beside her, but she also wants to be able to open up to someone who can see the person beneath all the confidence. Sparring is enough of a compromise, a place where she can be her strongest and also vulnerable, no matter how difficult it to let someone see all of her sides. Maybe you could be that person?
Dating isn't easy when you haven't been on one since the 1940s. Not to mention when you're the former Winter Soldier, so when you boldly ask Bucky out, he's surprised to say the least. Back in the day, going on dates with gals came easy, but now basic conversation felt like a battle.
So, he settles for the one place he feels safe, surrounded by books. He knew you enjoyed reading, since it was how you met in the first place when you pointed out the worn copy of The Hobbit in his hands at a coffee shop one afternoon. While he looks through the fantasy section, he finds himself staring more at your delighted face, lighting up at the sight of your favorite books, more than the titles. Of course, he makes sure to buy whatever you want, even if it means leaving with a stack in his metal arm.
Dating anyone was stressful enough, but dating the god of thunder? It was a whole other level of dating. Thor was constantly full of energy, jumping from one thing to the next, but by far, you had never seen him so energetic as when snow covered the ground. Suddenly, he wants to share everything with you he enjoyed from winters in Asgard.
First, the two of you go ice skating since Pegasus is not an option (much to Thor's disappointment) in the park. For a warrior, he's not exactly graceful on his feet and falls quite a few times on the ice. Of course, he laughs it off and makes sure to keep you steady instead. The two of you get some coffee to warm up and take a walk in the snow until Thor gets it in his head to have a snowball fight. Considering you're both the most competitive members on the team, well, this date is going to take a lot more energy than expected.
When Sam had mentioned going on a boat ride, you had expected something a bit more romantic and peaceful, not learning to sail at his family's old homeplace. Tugging the ropes and shifting the sails is a lot harder than you expected, but he's there every step of the way, even when the wind begins to pick up. Teaching you how to catch the wind properly and being patient. Honestly, it's probably just an excuse to hold your hand.
You have to admit, it's worth the view once the two of you get to look at the sunset over the water, enjoying one another's presence. Sam doesn't take things seriously all the time, often joking around more than anything, but after today? No matter how strong the winds, he'd stay by your side. No doubt about it.
