guys i found the best song for inuyasha
in the woods somewhere by hozier.
it fits him in a lot of stages in his life, but i tend to like it either after kagome disappeared (more towards the beginning of the three years) or post kikyo (both work but this is a really good melancholy song for how he feels after kikyo “dies”)
i keep forgetting i run this blog (its seriously an issue) but i found a good song
imagine inuyasha and kagome sittting all huddled up on christmas, wrapped in blankets, watching the snow fall. the whole house smells like warmth from the fire, and everything is peacefull outside. they are happy, and always will be.
Ok so I forget about this blog for weeks or just have nothing to share so I'm gona open the ask box so u folk can share your own scenarios!! Also my laptop's keyboard is dying so writing is hard atm
Imagine inuyasha and kagome acciently supergluing their hand together and trying to hide it from everyone by just holding hands untill it weakens.
Imagine inuyasha getting hind fingers superglued together and kagome having to patiently unstick him.
Imagine inuyasha and kagome spending summer night's sprawled in a heap on their bed, trying to get cool.
imagine kagome getting her bow knocked out of her hands during a fight, and getting wounded. once he’s done fretting over her, he attempts to teach her to throw a punch because “you’re not doing it properly” and “damned if i’m going to let you break a thumb trying to clock someone”
imagine inuyasha putting kagome to bed when she falls asleep at her desk. when she finds herself in bed, blankets tucked up around her chin and a glass of water on her bedside table she assumes she managed to stumble in to bed or her mama put her to bed. its not till just the two of them are out traveling and, after a day of walking and scavenging for jewel shards, she falls asleep over her homework, and wakes up tucked up in her sleeping bag with him adamantly pretending to be asleep sitting against a tree across from her that she relises it was him all along
imagine kagome being so protective of their first born, never letting the little one out of her or her husbands sight, because she knows how many babies die in this time period, and she’s terrified that her little bundle of hard-won happiness will be ripped away from her by an illness that's so easily avoided in her time. inuyasha holds her when she has a panic attack and crys for hours because their child has even the simplest fever because she’s so afraid for them.
imagine how many times, in that eternal 3 years, that kagome rolled over in bed and, eyes fluttering open in naive hope, expected to see a familiar red-clad figure sitting in her room, how many times she woke up worrying that she was late and that she needed to pack her bag, now sitting in the corner of her room, always ready. at the beginning it would hit her hard, a clutching in her chest when she realized that it was over, that he was so far away from her forever, tears tracking down her face in fast rivers. time slows the rivers to streams to eventually just a prickle in her eyes. she still wakes up, hands searching for a warm body close to her own. when she gets back, she still wakes up, heat pounding, searching the hut with sleep addled eyes, panicing that he’s gone, that all of this has been a beautiful dream, and thats she’s going to wake up, cold and alone once more.
imagine inuyasha and kagome taking baths together because she realizes shes never seen him have a proper bath, he tends to just jump in a body of water and then declare himself clean so she strongarms him into her bath at home or a hot-spring and making sure he actually gets clean.
imagine inuyasha and kagome as gems, who fuse in the middle of a fight, and suddenly every little bit of kagomes love for him floods inuyashas head and heart and he’s not afraid anymore because finally they can share with each other what words could never communicate, the trust and overwhelming love for each other
imagine kagome dying on her side of the well, and never returning to inuyasha’s side, their connection severed in mere moments. inuyasha waits for her, convinced she must just be busy, angry at her for not coming home, and when she’s still away, he goes to collect her, only to find her gone, a ragged hole in his heart where she once was.
imagine inuyasha and kagome sleeping in the same bed, and starting the night on opposite sides facing away from each other, determined not to make it weird and just to get it over with, and waking up in a tangled heap, wrapped up in eachothers arms. its the best nights sleep either of them has had in months.
