You Don't Know What You Got Unitl It's Gone Part 2 - Calum
Michael puts his phone in his pocket and walks over to your side embracing you into a tight hug. “Shhh shhh y/n” I grip onto his arms trying to speak “I- I-” I hiccupped “I love him Michael! I- I can’t stand seeing him with her all happy and having me be on the sidelines watching his happiness. Yeah go ahead call me a greedy bitchy friend but I just loath his happiness with her! It is so much torture watching her treat me and you guys like shit! Honestly Michael I am so done with him, I actually thought he cared for us but he doesn’t! That bitch changed him! She changed him!”
I cling onto Michael crying. “Y/n-” Michael’s phone starts to ring, he reaches into his pocket taking out his phone to see CalumCakes lighting up the screen. I glance and see the name grabbing his phone running to the bathroom locking the door. Michael is knocking on the door. “y/n give me the phone” I ignore him and answer “Mich-” “How could you!?!” There was silence. “y/n, look let me-” I sobbed an irritated laugh “NO! You listen to me Calum! I am so done with only seeing you once a week and you letting Claire treat me and the guys like shit! You have changed so much! You are a stranger to me!”
There was silence “And really Cal? You took her to Paris, France out of all the places in the world. Well let me tell you Calum fucking Hood YOU ARE FUCKING DEAD TO ME! YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!! DON’T EVEN BOTHER TEXTING OR CALLING BYE!” I huffed and hung up opening the door to see Ashton, Luke and Michael standing at the door looking at me wide eyed.
Looking into the mirror I say “You can do this y/n, you can do this” My phone starts to ring “Hello?” I hear laughing in the background “Aye y/n we are here outside” I look once more in the mirror sighing silently “Alright I’ll be out” I grab my purse and swung it over my left shoulder walking out the door. I see Michael, Luke and Ashton in Ashton’s car. Luke is back patting the seat next to him. I laugh shaking my head getting into the backseat with Luke. Ashton drives off. “So are you boys going to tell me where you are taking me?” Ashton looks at me in the rearview mirror winking mouthing “no”
I rolled my eyes “Ahh come on!! Give me a hint or something” Luke laughs patting my arm. “I think it’s time to put the blind fold on her” I look at Michael “wait what blind fold?” Ashton hands one of his bandanas to Michael who hands it to Luke. I scoot away from Luke and he scoots closer taking off his seatbelt jumping onto my lap trying to get the bandana over my eyes. “No Luke stop” I giggled poking his side having him cringe up “Michael I need help!!” Michael unbuckles his seatbelt and jumps in the back seat to help Luke cover my eyes. Michael has Luke hold my hands while Michael covers my eyes.
"Guys this feels very kinky especially since Michael is on my lap while Luke’s body is kinda in-between us" Ashton is laughing "Aww I am missing out on all the fun" Luke kisses my hands "Kinky is our middle name" I rolled my eyes "Uh you guys can get off my lap now, just because I can’t see you I can feel you" I feel Michael move close to my ear whispering "Is that all you feel" My whole face flushed "Shut up!" I feel him get up and hear him climb back to the front. The car comes to a stop. I hear the car doors open and feel one of the guys getting me out the car.
"Just keep walking, Don’t worry I got you" I feel Michael clinging his arm around mine. We walk into a house I think and I hear Luke say "He isn’t there" I hear Ashton grunt "Are fucking kidding me" Michael sets me down on a couch "I’ll be right back okay" I hear him walk away. I hear foot steps walk towards me "Uhh Mikey?" "Look y/n I know you are going to hate me for this but someone really wanted to talk to you and I know how badly you’ve been-" "Just bring him in already and take this damn blind fold off already" Michael takes the blind fold off and looks at me. I look away.
Luke and Ash walk in with Calum. Calum looks at me and I see tears fall down his cheeks. I wanted to run and hug him and say how everything is okay but I would be lying. Calum sits in front of me and we both look at the guys who get the hint and walk out. “y/n look I know you hate my guts and probably don’t want to see or even hear me but I have missed you so much!” I laughed “seriously! My life has been a mess after I got off the phone with you y/n. After you hung up on me I went to look for Claire to end things but instead I found her making out with some dude which helped cause I used that to break up with her and how she made me a shitty friend to my friends”
Calum has tears still falling from his eyes and now that I look at him more clearly he has bags under his eyes and his eyes are blood shot red. “That day I packed my stuff and booked the next flight out. On the plane I kept re- reading the text Michael sent me” I looked at him “wait Michael sent you a text?” Calum nodded his head “what did the text say?” Calum took out his phone and pulled up the text. I read what Michael sent and I felt tears in my eyes. “The part that got to me the most is when he said I don’t know what I got until it’s gone. y/n I took you for granted and I know you don’t wanna be friends but-” I felt tears in my eyes “Cal you really hurt me and Michael-“
"No let me finish please" I nodded for him to continue "I know you don’t wanna be my friend but it took me a month to realize I am lost without you and that I am completely in love with you" I look at him in shock, trying to contain my emotions. "I really needed to get that off my chest" I wipe the tears from my eyes "Cal I- I used to be in love with you, you had no idea and but it is too late.. I moved on.." I look at him "I am in love with Michael now, he was there for me when you weren’t and he was the one picking up the pieces" I get up from the couch and walk in front of Calum.
I lean in and give him a kiss on the cheek. “I don’t hate you anymore Cal. I forgive you for being a shitty friend and I will give you a second chance of being a friend but only a friend” I walk towards the doorway to Michael grabbing his hand walking out the house into the car….
