Warped Tour
Characters: Kellin Quinn
Band: Sleeping With Sirens
Anonymous asked: Can you write one with Kellin Quinn where the reader is his girlfriend and while at Warped Tour, she has a panic attack while he's on stage? Also, this is sorta specific but can he call the reader kitten at one point?
A/N: Sooo, I haven’t written any imagines in forever, and I apologize for that! I can’t make any promises as to how often I’ll be posting imagines, but feel free to keep sending in requests to give me some inspiration :) also i just went to my first warped tour on saturday (which was sooo fun!!) so hopefully i’ll make this as accurate as possible
You took a sip from your water bottle as you looked down at the schedule in your hands.
You were at Warped Tour, supporting your boyfriend Kellin Quinn. Sadly, you didn’t have any friends from the town you were in, so you were by yourself most of the day.
Sleeping With Sirens would be performing at 5:45. It was almost 5:20 now, so you decided to make your way to Shark Stage in order to get a good spot in the crowd.
August Burns Red was scheduled to play before SWS, but when you got to Shark Stage, you could already tell from the mass of SWS shirts that fans had already showed up.
For the rest of August Burns Red’s set, you joined in with the crowd and jumped along to their songs, showing an appropriate amount of excitement. When the set ended and the crowd began to clear out, though, you pushed your way towards the front of the crowd.
You stood among sweaty fans for nearly another 20 minutes before you heard screams. You looked up and grinned when you saw Kellin running out onto the stage, smiling.
His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for you. When he saw you his smile grew wider, and he gave you a small wave. Then, he began to sing.
At first, nothing was going wrong. You were usually fine with crowds, but apparently today was different. You started to freak out at people pushed and shoved you among everyone else, and you could feel your heart racing.
“I-I need help,” you shouted above the noise to the girl next to you.
She looked over at you, her eyes widening when she realized what was going on. “Okay, right, um let’s go this way,” she said, taking your arm and pulling you behind her.
You put your hand over your mouth, trying to calm your breathing. You looked up at the stage and saw Kellin watching you with concern in his eyes. He was still singing, though, being sure to give everyone a good show. You tore your eyes away from him, embarrassed that he was seeing you like this.
The girl finally pushed her way through the crowd, and you were right behind her. She led you to a nearby tree, making you sit under the shade. “Just keep breathing,” she told you, crouching down next to you. “Try to forget the crowd.”
You followed her instructions, and eventually you got your breathing back to normal. “I’m sorry that you had to miss the show,” you apologized. “You didn’t have to stay with me.”
“Oh, I would feel bad leaving you hear by yourself. Besides, I’ve seen them perform so many times,” she waved off your apology.
“What’s your name?” you asked, reminding yourself to tell Kellin about her.
“Lexi,” she smiled. “What’s yours?”
Before you could reply, you heard your name being called. Your head snapped up and you saw Kellin jogging towards you, body guards at his side in case fangirls tried to get to him.
“Oh wow, you’re y/f/n y/l/n!” Lexi exclaimed, putting her hand over her mouth. “I didn’t even recognize you!”
“Kitten, are you okay?” Kellin asked when he reached you. “What happened?”
“Sorry, the crowd got to me and I had to step away,” you sighed. “Lexi, here, helped me, though.”
“Thank you,” Kellin turned toward Lexi, smiling. “Do you want a picture or something?”
Lexi nodded excitedly and took a picture with Kellin. You thanked her one more time before she walked away, wishing the two of you the best.
“She was nice,” you stated. “I should have gotten her twitter or something...”
“Are you seriously okay, y/n?” Kellin wondered. “You’ve never been bothered by crowds before.”
“Yeah, that’s why I’m confused...but I’m fine, I promise,” you replied, smiling up at him.
“Good,” he said, nodding and kissing you briefly before saying, “Now let’s go enjoy the rest of the day.”
