Canonically Kämpfer has been journalling for most of his life, starting in his teen years(cir.1750). I’m playing around with the idea of writing his journals. But I’m worried that would take too much of my attention away from writing Out For A Bite

The syringe package is just amazing and I love the bright green(tho I kinda wish it was a little more yellow for the sake of accuracy). It’s really pigmented! A tiny bit goes such a long way.

This is why I didn’t keep the name Damon. Everyone kept saying “you like Vampire Diaries??” “You’re named after a Vampire Diaries character??” And I’d have to explain that I’ve never fully watched Vampire Diaries and I wasn’t interested in the parts that I did watch, which would usually make people mad bc apparently liking vampires means I have to like ALL vampire media.

So like maybe don’t always assume that someone got their name from a certain piece of media? Or at least don’t get mad when people say they don’t actually like the media that you thought they got their name from?

I’m tired of the idea that growing up is to let go of childish things. It isn’t. It never should be. The world teaches us that adults can only find joy in things that are adult enough, when we can, and should, find joy in anything we want. Even if it’s childish.
