PR's..... Well Baselines
For the first time, last weekend, I established my 1RM for Clean and Jerk, and 1RM for Snatch.... I got up to 115# for Clean and Jerk and 85 on the Snatch... Pretty excited about that..... And Wednesday night I got 5 reps of OHS with 85# I HATE OHS, and I'm improving. I love rowfit community and how much we push each other to get better and stronger.

How I felt when I hit the wall ball portion of the workout. But then I said BOOM wall conquered.
FRAN
Tonight I did FRAN for the first time. For those of you that donât know, FRAN is a baseline crossfit workout that entails an 8 minute time cap where you are supposed to complete a combination: 21-15-9 of Thrusters and Pull-ups⌠Rx weight for girls is 65#. I set my bar up for 55# and used a green band for pull-ups. In 8 minutes I made it through the first round and was just shy 2 pull-ups from completing round 2 (15).
That wasnât all. After that was our strength part. 10min EMOM of 3 Clean and Jerks. Increase weight each round is the goal. I started with empty bar and worked up to 125#. This makes me pretty damn excited⌠We have an in house weightlifting competition on Saturday and I had no idea what to figure for a PR, now I do. Also dudes keep in kind this was post FRAN, 9 other rounds of clean and jerks, and we started our class with pull-up skill sets. Skyâs the limit when all you got to do is 3 attempts at 1RM of clean and jerk.

Random thought. I think I'm more scared of what id look like if I didn't work out, than what I'll look like if I continue working out.

How I feel after Vacation!
Vacation
Vacation is seriously the best and worst thing ever. Relaxing, shopping, adventures, some workouts, no workouts. It's the whole mix of pure relaxation, attempting to workout, planning to workout, and epic adventures. My second day in California I took the bus from Woodland Hills to Santa Monica. Well more like took 3 busses to SM, but it was awesome. I got to see so many different parts of CA had I just drive there the "Normal" way. I put my feet in the ocean, got to try on this dress and Anthropologie that I am going to wear to a gala in 2 weeks and guess what I was so happy that I fit in to a size smaller than I planned to try on! Things vary based on brands but hell one size smaller in one brand is still progress. My best friend met me in SM after work and we met a follow UofL grad at Umami Burger. If you like burgers and you like truffles made into truffle cheese I HIGHLY recommend. It was so delicious and that best part I was that fatty gross full you usually get after eating burgers like that. Day 2 I ran 2 miles. Then ran 1.5miles to CrossFit Woodland Hills. Where we proceeded to run 1mile for warm up, then do the WOD. It felt good to workout I was pretty pooped after that so that 1.5 miles back to the apt was a walk followed by lounging at the pool. Also as Sally said what is a reunion between the two of us if it doesn't include all you can eat sushi, so that's just what we did. Day 3: today I spent 4 hours at the mall. Ended up with 2 new shirts, one pair of work pants, some Keihls products.... And my best purchase a pair of Maui Jim's! Now I'm just tanning at the pool again. Tonight is going to included seafood on the beaches on Malibu followed by some wine bars. TOMORROW: DISNEYLAND!! Big kids living their little kid dreams. All in all I don't wanna go home, on Sunday.

T- 1 day till Vacation!
Going to California tomorrow to visit my best friend/sister from a different family! So excited for relaxation, tanning, RUNNING OUTSIDE, DisneyLand (yes Disneyland) and some good food and drinks. Cali here I come!
