I really love Oshi no Ko and it sucks that people (very understandably) refuse to watch it or drop it because of the weird relationship between Aqua and Ruby THATS NOT EVEN NECESSARY 😭 I’m currently rewatching and being reminded that Goro had no real parental figures beyond his grandparents and that Sarina was completely neglected by hers. Why make her have a crush on him? Why not turn their relationship into Goro being almost a surrogate parent to Sarina? I’ve seen older siblings who are practically parents to younger siblings so an almost-father-and-daughter reincarnated as twins would’ve been more acceptable tbh. It would’ve explained that the reason Ruby loves Aqua so much and why Aqua is so protective is because they were the only people the other cared for like family. Idk, familial relationships have always hit me much harder than romantic ones

Honestly, whenever those alpha male podcasters talk about how men should look to appeal to women, I think of how popular Stiles became with fangirls despite being the only male main character not shown shirtless in a show about shirtless sixpack werewolves.

one of the biggest comedic elements in Teen Wolf is the utter disparity between Scott and Stiles attitude towards the supernatural - like Scott is THE teen wolf, packs of werewolves are dropping out of the sky on his way to school, his classmates are turning into lizards/demons/chimeras but he’s still like “im just a normal guy and maybe i can go on a date with Allison :) and grow up normally in a normal way” even as his eyes start glowing and he sprouts claws and fangs. meanwhile, “regular human” Stiles Stilinski can endure a maximum of 15 without an evil cult showing up before he gets bored and starts poking around for more dead bodies

Not enough people in the teen wolf fandom engage with the fact that stiles is actually fucking insane. My man was looking for the other half of a dismembered body in the woods just for funsies in episode one. My man was out here bringing a baseball bat to an Alpha fight. My man regularly threatened to turn his werewolf buddies into fur rugs. Why are you turning him into a sweetiepiecandonowrong?
