Obviously the absolute destruction of his wrapping job has him stepping back, staring with a lopsided grin. It's a fancy sword, something decidedly expensive, but totally worth all the same. Claus watches carefully for a reaction.
His eyes widened when he saw what was inside he box. He went quiet-- Is this... this is-- how did he--
“Claus-- How did you get your hands on something like this!?”
Leol pulls a beautiful, AWESOME FANCY SWORD out of the box. That’s literally what it was called-- Awesome Fancy Sword. It says that above it when he checks it’s stats-- it’s genuine, too; Claus didn’t accidentally get a knock off on accident. He had heard of it before, this Awesome Fancy Sword... But it was too expensive, and his level was too low to even think about being able to wield it. One also had to go through a lot of work to locate the legit blacksmith who creates it. It was too much hassle when he had a kingdom to protect, he had thought. He had forgotten about it. But now... Now it was here, in his hands. And he had leveled considerably since then.
“Oh my-- Ahh, Claus! You-- This is the best Birthday gift EVER!” He hopped up into a stance and started stabbing the sword into the air in front of him. It was fast, and easy to move. The grip wasn’t worn at all, and the blade didn’t have a chip anywhere-- unlike good o’l trusty, who had been through some stuff. He was careful not to accidentally slice something. The cross section had an interesting tapper that made it good for thrusting and cutting, too. His eyes sparkled at the sight.
“We GOT to test this out! Let’s go outside and cut something.” He ran past Claus to the door, leaving the box and mess of torn paper on the ground. “Hurry up! Let’s go!”
