Barry saves the world, but accidentally fuses with an alternate dimension version of himself. Except that he doesn't notice at first turns out that it's an Omegaverse. Since he has not a single clue about that world, he needs EoWells help, who puts aside his grudge to watch Barry absolutely fail at social norms like it's his personal TV show. And scams him into dating, but Barry is oblivious to that. It's hilarious like you wouldn't believe.

That... is such a good question, I don't even know where to begin.
First of all, the bag itself is magic. It exists with intent and purpose , i.e. giving the wishing parent(s) the child that they ask for. Usually, that would just mean protecting the egg that needs to be delivered. Imagine the combination between an impenetrable shield and a self sustaining uterus.
Going back to the core of the concept, the idea is storks delivering babies, but make it mermaids. That means that a letter is sent to the Guppy Delivery Service and they bring the babies. The very logic behind that myth is magic. A letter is written by someone or a couple wanting kids, and from that an entire being - usually biologically related to them - is born. So the system itself is already defined by magic. Being a guppy delivery staff however, is a job. Following that train of thought, it means that the tools themselves are the magical element. And I'll admit to skipping the logistics of how a letter creates an egg, but it also creates a map that leads to the matching parent(s). (As seen in the fic, it dissolves into sparkly bubbles when they've reached the destination) The bag however, is a separate tool that is both linked to the letter's intent and yet somewhat independent.
Now, like very vaguely mentioned in my fic, the bag also has a degree of sentience. The core of Bruce's wish is to not be lonely in his luxurious and yet isolating home. The bag, lacking the sapience for understanding complex reasoning or typical common sense, registers a guppy touching it without an adult around and deems it an orphan that can be added to Bruce's brood and absorbs them through its walls. More guppies = Less lonely.
Finally to your actual question. Let's say that the bag gets lost somewhere (again), and a human finds it. The bag's primary function would overshadow everything else and make sure that the human couldn't open or damage the egg inside of it. Same thing if that human happened to be a child. However, that's where the letter aspect comes into play: What did the parent(s) wish for?
Let's use Bruce again with exactly the same setup. He wants a child to liven up his massive home and not be lonely anymore. The delivery mers fumbled, and now the bag is off and driving up to the shores. Let's say that Tim - a lone human child - now finds the bag and goes poking. I'd imagine that the bag would realize that Tim as a human is not the species asked for and would probably passively analyze him while it's stuck there. Bruce's wish is still one of its two priorities however. The bag is magic, composed of duty and intent, so I'd imagine that it would search the kid for parental bonds. Assuming Tim's parents don't show up, the bag would probably assume that Tim is an orphan after some time and absorb him as part of its intended goal. Now, this is where it gets a bit funky. The bag does want to bring Bruce kids, but Tim can't breathe under water and would immediately drown (or combust because of water pressure) That's a problem. Since protecting the guppies in its charge is its primary function, it would have to change Tim from human to a mer for his own survival, thus "setting things right".
I'd say that there's consent issues here, but the bag is 1) a magic tool, and 2) does not have morals of any kind.
tldr: Nothing happens unless the bag thinks it's an orphan kid. Even then, nothing happens unless it matches with the parent's want for multiple children. Then yes, a human orphan can get absorbed and would be changed into a mer.

Eobard can see how quietly undone Barry is becoming. The scent of pregnancy barely there on the omega's skin, the way Wally keeps pushing, the chatter about how *good* this will be for both of them when he thinks they're alone. It makes Eo's skin crawl, and he can tell Barry feels similar.
But he knows Barry's a pushover with his family. Always has been.
So, he decides to take matters into his own hands and claims the omega for himself.
Barry is angry at first; rightfully so. For all the talk over the years of Eobard mating him, he's never actually followed through on it. It was just teasing, part of the chase until Barry understood, on his own terms. He never wanted to take that choice away from him, he never intended to. But seeing this, the way the younger speedster greedily gripped his mentor's waist, rubbing his scent glands all over him, the defeated look in Barry's eyes during it all, Eobard *knew* he needed to intervene.
Despite all the snarled threats, Barry didn't leave the nest during his claim induced false heat, likely enjoying the reprieve despite himself. By the end of it, he could see Barry's growing confusion that he hadn't attempted to consummate their new bond, only going so far as to slide into the nest alongside him and rub their mating glands together as he rumbled deep in his chest to soothe his new mate.
It took 10 hours after the false heat ended for Barry to wander into the kitchen as Eobard was preparing their dinner. He no longer looked tired and downtrodden, recovering quickly post-heat quickly, but Eobard knew it took the omega some time before he finally worked up the nerve to leave the safety of the nest and seek him out.
"Why didn't you...?" His words trailed off, the unsaid hanging heavy between them.
"I've made my intentions quite clear in the time we've known each other, Barry," Eobard said with a glance. "And I've made my terms of those intentions clear."
"You want me to want it." Barry said. "Then why claim me? I didn't ask for that."
"It was a... calculated decision."
"Calculated. Not jealous." Barry huffed. He brushed Eobard aside, taking the knife from his hand to begin chopping the vegetables himself. "You're doing it wrong."
"Oh, am I?" Eobard said, the amusement clear in his voice.
"Yes." The word was gritted out. There was silence between them, only broken by the sound of the knife against the cutting board. "You know I'm pregnant."
"And?"
"I have to go back." Barry said, staring at the vegetables under his hands intently. "I can't... keep a pup from their father. It isn't right. Besides, he knows, and..."
"So, say it's mine."
"What?"
"Say..." Eobard ran a hand along the omega's lower back as he stepped behind him, then finally, carefully, wrapped his arm around his middle. "It's mine. It was quite foolish of them, leaving an in-heat omega alone for so long, empty and unguarded. I snuck into your nest and bred you..."
"Thawne..."
"You know because I didn't leave until I was sure you caught." He pushed his face into his mate's neck, nuzzling the scarred mating bite. "Is it that unbelievable that I would do such a thing?"
"It is to me..." Barry murmured. The words caused a warmth to blossom in Eobard's chest and he let out a rumbling purr. "Why do you want this? Claiming me..."
"You know how I've wanted you, Barry."
"Raising a pup that's not yours..."
"I've always liked pups. Is that so unbelievable? Dreams of domesticity?" Eobard's teeth scraped his omega's bonding gland, prompting a small whine. "It would be half yours. That's enough for me. Anything you give is enough for me."
Barry's eyes closed. The words were overly sweet and outlandish, but deep down, he knew they were sincrere. Eobard loved him. His alpha loved him. Is this what it felt like? Not a pawn or a womb to fill and produce pups, but to be wholly, truly loved?
"Okay."
Against his neck, Eobard's lips curved into a smile.
Mermay AU!!!!! I've been trying to make a mermay fic on time for years, and I'm going to make it happen one way or another.
Eobarry are basically the mermaid equivalent of storks brining babies to their parents. They get sent to deliver to a high profile client together despite Barry disliking the mer, and so they're forced to spend time together and bond while delivering a mystery baby bag to Gotham.
Eobarry School AU, except with a semi horror off kilter vibe. Like, why is Barry - a grown man - going to school as students do, then goes to the library after classes to study, as students do. And then he sees this other student, Eobard, and really really wants to get closer to him and breaks off his task to ask him to study together. Because students sometimes study together. But then there's his classmates Hal, Oliver, and Bruce, who are somehow confused about their school life and dorms?
This is really an excuse for Barry to have a crush on Eobard and them dating in secret. And some background dread that Barry doesn't care to notice because he's really busy trying to get a boyfriend.
Dani Phantom is the Speed Force. Which means that she gets to vibe and bond with her chosen speedsters. Dani and Barry vibing. Dani and Eobard bonding even as he goes through his villain arc. Bart and Dani about time travel!
Mostly only a concept, but the Reverse Flash storyline is coming together. I just want that man to bond with the freest girl who just wants him to chill but supports him when he's not being evil.
Interrupting my DC fixation to fixate on JJK SatoSugu Time Travel AUs! Except that it's Shoko's POV. Where teenage Shoko realizes that her two best friends are acting weird and at odds, and somehow finds herself in need of pulling their trio back together. I just need more Gojo and Geto loving their girl, because damnit if I don't feel cheated by Canon.
Another Eobarry where Eobard is in denial about being in love and Barry just lives his best life. Yes I've written it, yes I'm writing it again, yes I have more prompts revolving around this exact same concept. Listen. Their enemies to lovers dynamic really makes sense when Eobard thinks he's being all evil in his revenge plans when in reality they're just two domestic boyfriends/husbands.
