i know people online are deeply weird about cheating but genuinely drives me nuts when people talk about rose from titanic or skyler white as having 'cheated' like people truly cannot grasp that women especially are so often trapped in relationships they want to leave, we know that rose is a teenager being pushed into an arranged marriage to an abusive man and we know that skyler is scared of walt and trying to leave him but he refuses and is deliberately intimidating her. doesnt give me a lot of hope for what they think of real life women in these sorts of situations
