And now the special came out and Bloody Mary is completely over in Japan and the final volume’s official release, which is the last Bloody Mary release in the country, is in two hours. However some places are selling the volume for two days now already.
Anyway, this final special was explaining further the end of the manga, so it’s important to read to the fans.
Another new thing in the magazine was: Samamiya-sensei’s next manga has been announced. It has a name, main characters and a starting date already (everything I’m telling you now comes in the picture below, which is a page of the magazine that came out yesterday).
The manga’s name is “Ballad Opera” and its first chapter will come out on May 24th. There’s nothing about it being in any other magazine and Monthly Asuka is released on the 24th, so it’s safe to assume it’ll be serialized on Monthly Asuka. The main character names are (from left to right): Kuro, Haru and Shiro.
There aren’t details about the plot itself so we’ll have to wait to know about that.
With the sale of volume 10 of Bloody Mary, depending on the store, some costumers get this picture of Maria and Bloody (photo source: Monthly Asuka Official Twitter) while others get a picture of Samamiya Sensei’s next work, “Ballad Opera”.
Animate Kamata official twitter (it’s a store in Japan in which you’d magically lose all your money, believe me in what I’m telling you) tweeted the picture of Ballad Opera that is given with volume 10 (source)
Also, a Japanese fan posted a photo of the page at the end of volume 10 of Bloody Mary, in which appear the main characters of Ballad Opera again (here’s the original tweet)
