Gohan was looking over some paper work in the kitchen, sighing heavily for he was rather tired. At this moment, he would love for any distraction for a small break. Perhaps he could look into things for Pan. He knew his daughter was looking into colleges. Well, she had found some and she was accepted to all of them. Now, she just had to pick which she would want to go to.

What’s most important, she should figure what she would want to do. Gohan struggled with that himself when he was her age. Figuring out what to do is probably the most difficult part. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to train or go to school, and if school…what did he want to do.

So many options.

A familiar voice entered his ears, causing the older male to turn and face his daughter. A gentle smile fell over his face upon her words, “ Of course, Pan. ” Gohan turned to face his daughter more clearly, dropping his work with a relieved sighed. The break he was looking for.

Gohan loved helping out his family. Whatever he could do to put them at ease, always put him in his own happiness, “ What’s bothering you? ”

She didn’t know how to come out and say how she felt, but she also wanted a straight answer. “I want to know how college went for you.” That’s a start, but she needed to clarify what kind of answers she wanted. “Did you like it, was is a good experience for you?”

Pan sighed and tried to address it a little more directly. “As you know, I’ve been looking over my options to pick out the best school for me...But I got to thinking about if I didn’t go at all?” She questioned herself because she didn’t exactly know how her father would react to her predicament.

Pan was in between a rock and a hard place. She had applied for many colleges because her teachers had convinced her that it was a good decision, but she was starting to regret it. The acceptance letters that she had received had been on her mind all day.

She wanted to train in the time that she usually did for school because she wanted to be an asset to any future battles. Pan had been a liability for too long and all she wanted to do was prove that she could be of some use. On the other hand, she wanted to be the person her father would be proud of. She wanted to be successful and further her academic career, but then it would take up most of her time and focus.

Walking into her house, she immediately went to go find her father. “Papa!” She called out. As she walked towards her father, she smiled. “Papa, can I talk to you about something that’s been eating at me for a few weeks?”
