Very underrated PLL scene more people should know about. The context here is Emily is competing in a church beauty pageant to earn some extra cash.

Church lady in charge of pageant: I’m sorry Emily but you can’t compete in the pageant anymore. We have a certain standard we need to uphold as the church and there are some things that just don’t align with our values. Im so sorry.

More Batman thoughts:

I was thinking how each of his children (while they all have a little bit or a lot a bit of all of these things) sort of represent key aspects of Batman.

Dick is his passion, he literally just cares so much about his family, about Gotham etc. I think he could also represent Bruces leadership skills.

Jason has a household name that strikes fear in the hearts of criminals and makes the innocent feel safe.

Tim, and i know this is such a boring take but, is his genius level intellect and unmatched detective skills.

Damien is a skilled warrior and martial artist with extensive training and a random assortments of skills (i.e. voice mimicking)

Cass, a god damn creature of the shadows, observant and calculating. His resourcefulness and adaptability.

Duke, saw what was missing from Gotham and decided it was his duty to become it.

I know this is boiling down tiny aspects of their characters i just think it’s interesting how they could represent these aspects that make up Batman.

Okay but picture this: The batfam have steadly started revealing themselves to the Justice league and now they all know Batman has been hiding 9+ children and have accepted that Batman has friends and family everywhere and are just waiting anxiously for the next one to appear. They run into some magical bullshit it doesn’t matter, Batman says he knows a guy who can help. Everyone assumes yet another person from the seemingly endless number of batfamily members is about to make themselves known. Enter John Constantine striding into the room with an air of chaos and mischief thats all to familiar at this point.

Constantine: Bats i’m so glad you called, i missed you to.

Batman ignoring his flirtatious attitude: We need your help. *starts explaining the magical bullshit*

Constantine continues to flirt and be generally annoying to Batman because that’s just who he is.

Justice league who have been trying to guess who this guy is to Batman outside the mask, drawing very incorrect conclusions.

Hal: So this is your boyfriend then right? I’ve got a lot of money riding on this one.

Batman and Constantine, genuinely acquaintances at best.
