gotta love unsolicited advice i get for simply existing on here as a teenager, although its nice when people arent assholes about it.

so to anyone scrolling or opening my blog after seeing a single post, keep in mind.

1. im not a man hater, i dont hate men.

saying i hate men would be an unfair and unreasonable statement because i have nor and will never meet every man ever to confidently make that statement.

2. i know shitty women exist, i have been bullied by women my whole life, just as i have with men.

this is a feminist blog, speaking on feminist issues, the oppressors are men.

3. when i say all men, i dont mean all men.

ive explained this before, ill explain it again, no i do not mean all men when i say it, once again i would need to meet every man ever to make that statement, but i do mean enough men for it to be a concerning issue.

how do i know it's enough? the world is littered with proof that many men are not raised properly.

4. women arent sin-less angels.

yes, i could talk about the harm other women have caused me, but this is a feminist blog, where i speak on feminist issues, where men are the oppressors and women are the oppressed.

5. i am not a judge in a courtroom trying to be fair.

many of my posts come off as emotional, because they are, female issues affect me directly, i will be bothered by them and i will post about them and i likely wont have time to say "but i dont really mean all men" everytime i make a fucking post.

6. yes i am scared of men.

when i meet a man, i assume the worst, that is my own issue due to my own experiences and interactions with the opposite sex, and no i do not assume the worst when i meet a woman, because they have not harassed or catcalled me.

7. yes im young, stop trying to teach me.

i am literally just a random teenager on the internet existing, will i become embarrassed and delete this account at some point in the future? possibly. do i have a magic crystal i look into to see the future? no.

unsolicited advice, calling me dear or darling, giving me life lessons, it is not appreciated unless i ask for it.

i understand, you are trying to help, some of you dont have malicious intent, but i do not care.

i exist on here as a teenager, yes i am clueless about many things, that does not give you the space to give me life advice or a lecture as if you are my parent.

i know you know better, that is because you lived longer, its logic, random advice i didn't ask for from strangers will not help me, it will cause more harm than good, because a good point you are making may get lost in translation due to how annoyed i am.

please, stop trying to teach me unless i ask for it, i am pinning this post and will send it to anyone replying or reblogging with advice i didn't ask for.

please just let me exist on the internet without a lecture i didn't ask for directed at me everywhere i look.

For starters, even if you don’t hate men, it’s 1000% okay if you do.

An oppressed class can hate their oppressor class, and generally when this is the case it’s not real hate, it’s not meaningless hate. When an oppressed group hates their oppressors, it’s usually a reaction to being mistreated and abused by them, and the nature of their hatred is usually ‘I want these people to leave me alone’ and not ‘I want to hurt and kill these people’ which is the way men hate women. And you can also say ‘I hate men’ and not mean every man on the planet, but men as a class! Most feminists and radfems believe this, and again it’s perfectly normal to hate your oppressors.

Sometimes your posts can reach a part of tumblr where people will get on their high horses and be like ‘you have an unhealthy opinion of men 🤓 you’re just a man-hater’ and these people are not worth your time, and naturally since you are a minor they will try to bring up your age as if it’s evidence of ignorance or some shit. Try not to let these people get to you. I know that’s not easy but you’re a smart young woman and don’t let someone else’s alleged age make you second guess yourself.

If you say a single thing bad about men, the common response you’ll see is your second point: ‘but what about the evil woman!?’ They’ll ignore the main issue and focus on the fact that there can be shitty women, because when men do it 93% of the time and women do it 7% percent of the time then those women suddenly are equally as bad than the 93% if not worse to them.

Like you said, you’re a young woman on the internet with a feminist blog where you vent about things that affect you in life. The fact that some people can’t seem to stand that, or are somehow trying to correct you on your thoughts and feelings, is more telling of them than it will ever be of you.

I’m sorry you’re having these negative experiences but always remember to weed out your garden — the block button is there and it’s free to use, and I wish you more positivity on your lovely blog 💕

I was at an art festival last week and the amount of young women 18-28 looking that had booths that were only filled with headless, limbless, naked women sometimes in chains sometimes in collars was actually revolting. i asked them why the fuck they would make something so awful they said it was female empowerment. i asked them why they would think it’s empowering to be chopped up and naked they said it body positive and sex positive. i didn’t buy anything

Women participating in their own objectification is nothing new. We absorb the culture we live in. And partiarchal culture bombards us with images of women cut in pieces.

The female body is considered an object so why not make objects that look like a female body? It’s all the same. And it sells. Same reason straight women have art of naked women in their homes or on their shirts. They're so used to sexist objectification that it doesn't shock them at all. And men tell them it's art. It must be art.

The appeal is settled. That means Depp’s case is dismissed with prejudice and he signed a settlement in which Amber Heard denied liability. After spending 26 million dollars on lawsuits in two countries, all Depp has to show for it is a twice-upheld ruling that he’s a wife-beater and also a piece of paper that says seven idiots agreed with him. He can wipe his ass with that or roll a blunt, it’s his choice.

Amber is free. He can’t relitigate their relationship anymore. She has no gag order, no injunction, no NDA. She did not accept guilt. On Instagram today, she stated that the UK court found she had been subjected to domestic and sexual violence, and he can’t touch her for saying that. He’s toothless.

She’s not paying a cent; her insurance is. Depp spent 26 million and got one million back. What a deal.

Oh, and her countersuit still stands. He still owes her two million. So let’s take a tally: Judge granted Heard a restraining order, UK judgment (upheld twice on appeal) found Depp was a wife-beater and rapist, VA jury found that Depp defamed Heard through Waldman, and now Depp’s verdict against her no longer matters and isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. That’s Amber: 4, Depp: 0.

Depp will never have a career resurgence, because in his own words, he’s “never getting clean and sober.” Big studios won’t touch him. He’s out of Pirates. He’s out of Fantastic Beasts. He’s already ruining his reputation in the European indie scene with his horrible behavior on set. His music is shit. He looks like his liver is trying to claw its way free of his body.

Meanwhile, Amber’s still Mera in Aquaman. She has about as much screen time in the sequel as she did in the original. She has another film, In the Fire, coming out in 2023. She’s free to resume her activism work. And one day she’ll write a tell-all book and be the star of multiple documentaries about how she was vilified and wronged, and maybe you remoras will feature in those documentaries, dressed as poop or giggling over a victim describing her rape.

Even if you think dating a man is incompatible you should be able to recognize that misogyny is very clearly the worse thing. Critiquing a woman’s choices is not inherently misogynistic but calling her slurs and using detailed descriptions of sex in your attacks is.

my brother recently pointed out something about ads targeted at women vs ads targeted at men and i havent been able to stop thinking about it. ill use hair product ads as a big example of this.

for mens ads: one dude approaches his friend, and hes like yo did you try this new product? you should try it man, its great. and the other man takes it and puts it on, likely while shirtless and completely jacked, then women start swarming around him and he smirks at the camera.

for womens ads: woman 1 is jealous of woman 2 and all the attention she gets, woman 3 approaches woman 1 and tells her about this hair product woman 2 uses, and tells her about a new and improved version that'll make woman 2 jealous. then theres a shot of woman 1 with pretty silky hair getting all the attention, and woman 2 in the background being jealous.

i think the problem speaks for itself.

honestly what's it gonna take for women to actually be treated by men as human beings? first it'll take years to simply unlearn the past, then we can finally be equals, and i won't even be alive by then.

i see misogynistic teenage boys, my age, who are so set in their ways and stupid mindsets, making sexist comments about women then claiming they're jokes, because telling a woman to go back to the kitchen is so funny? saying women are worse than men is peak humor? i just think to myself, that when im an adult, these are the kind of men that will be in my field of work, even if they don't say anything misogynistic to my face, they still think it, they'll still think im inferior no matter how much i do. and of course theyre so powerful because they stick together, with their whole bro code or saying "bros before hoes", and women? women are taught to compete from the moment theyre born, thats why its taking so long to undo the past, because how can you undo something engraved into your mind? something thats not directly taught to you, but in every piece of media you witness.

men arent gonna stop, but itd be a lot better if men were the only problem but theyre not, theres women who claim sex work is empowering, women who claim their dream is to be a housewife, a trophy wife, theyre part of the problem too. we'll never be equal until we start believing that we're truly equals, that we can live a life for ourselves.
