he momentarily paused with his steps as he looked at yerim with a hurt expression. it’s not like they both knew each other well. it was completely NORMAL for her to question him leading her so willingly through one of the shadier parts in town ( not that this could even be considered shady compared to other big cities but, DETAILS ) – especially if allen went by her looks alone. mistakes have been possibly made.

the almost whimsical tone along with the barely noticeable pause was and always had been the perfect method for guilt-tripping.

“ alter, fuck off. ”, how the hell did he have the mental strength to deal with her stoned ass when he didn’t even drink that often? it’s not even as if she would realize it if he left her alone or shoved her head in the next garbage bin available. but maybe allen did care a little more about her than he would admit when she just so kindly put up with all the shit he pulled as well. but right now? it was probably more because he was TIRED -- after all, that was the reason why he randomly decided to crash at her place instead of walking a couple more minutes to his place. . .

. . . which he deeply regretted for the past hour.

if allen wouldn’t be so used to all of her bullshit, he would probably roll his eyes. “ oh, really? i thought you were sober, you didn’t take another hit in so long. but yeah, i guess the sky has a perfect shade of blue right now or something . . . ” not like he cared enough to even check when he struggled to stay awake with her giggling and lulled words. fuck all of this, honestly.

“ . . . how about we DON’T? i don’t really wanna be the one to carry you to the next unlucky soul who has to fuck you tonight because you can’t take a single step yourself. ”
