I wrote this just over 4 years ago when Sarafina, our blue grey brush coat Shar Pei passed away. She was quite a magical little creature and brought much joy and sorrow in equal measure. As a rescue she'd had a rather rough life and had genetic related kidney disease. When we got her she was so fearful of people and I'm proud of the fact we got to find that happy home place before she passed away. I miss her dearly and this is her song.

Favourite Things 2 -

Objects and curiosities I love to collect. Yes I have a thing for trinkets and I had to include a picture of Sara, our Shar Pei who passed away four years ago from kidney disease. Gatsby is a much healthier boy and turns 7 next year. She had four very short years but gave so much more to us than I feel we deserved. I miss her to this very day.

Being an avid foodie I tend to avoid the ubiquitous food shot like the plague. Here’s a few of my other favourite things (dogs and dear ones included). Got to go hijack a few from when my niece and sister visited from Australia. I am hoping Monica makes a return for my 50th next year.
