I’m so proud of my alma matter! The University of Montana illuminated Main Hall in Pride colors for Pride Week last week! Much to conservatives’ chagrin, the red state of Montana is slowly changing color. Slowly, so, so, slowly progress is happening, and it gives me so much hope for the future. Missoula got a rainbow crosswalk last year, an increasing number of businesses and homes are sporting pride flags, and we had the largest turn out EVER for Pride this year!!!
It’s so easy to get overwhelmed in the negativity of the world, and lost to the seemingly endless transphobia and homophobia, but I KNOW, I absolutely KNOW it is getting better. And one day we will be beyond this dark time, and we will be truly free to be ourselves. Until then, stay safe, stay well, and keep grinding. Much love <3
happy pride! this dragon is gay <3
