Ich habe den Spahn-Post gesehen und weiß nicht richtig, wohin ich diese Frage am Besten richten soll, deshalb sorry wenn es hier unangebracht ist und gerne ignorieren — aber sind Leute FÜR Leihmutterschaft? Ich kenne eigentlich nur Argumente dagegen (bezüglich der Gesundheit von ‚gemieteter‘ Mutter und Kind, dem Geld, das die Firmen damit machen etc).

Bei Spahn war ja auch das Problem, dass er es verurteilt hat (er könne das als Schwuler Mann und Christ nicht gutheißen etc), aber dann selbst in Anspruch genommen hat. Deswegen wirkte für mich das Problem eher die offensichtliche Doppelmoral etc anstatt Leihmutterschaft an sich (auch wenn ich zustimme, dass die ganze Debatte teils auch homophobe Anklänge hat). Aber die Kommentare zu dem Post schienen mir teils in Richtung „ja dafür doch nicht?!“ zu gehen, was ich nicht ganz verstehe. Habe ich was verpasst?

Bezüglich des Themas selber bin ich bisher nicht informiert genug um dazu eine Meinung zu platformen, aber auch unabhängig von der Sache selber: die meisten mit denen ich darüber bisher gesprochen habe haben auch eher die Doppelmoral angeprangert, die Spahn konsistent an den Tag legt, was Recht angeht, vergleiche z.B. damals beim Corona Kontaktverbot, bei der Spahn trotzdem seine Spenderpartys veranstaltet hatte.

Bezüglich dem

„ja dafür doch nicht?!“

Diese Formulierung fängt z.B. noch folgendes mit ein: Das eine vergleichsweise "kleine" von Spans Missetaten, neben den Milliarden für Masken und Sonstiges die er an seine Kumpels weiterleitet (allegedly), das 9.999€-Spenden-Ding, das Verursachen der aktuellen Krise im Gesundheitssystem, dem Kampf gegen das Informationsfreiheitsgesetz, etc. Und nach alle diesen aktiven Angriffen auf die Zivilgesellschaft ist es dann diese Sache, die ihn letztendlich zu Fall bringt?

Es geht bei der Kritik an Spahn natürlich vor allem um Doppelmoral und Verhältnismäßigkeit.

Aber ja: Menschen sind für Leihmutterschaft. Weil Menschen Familien gründen und mit ihren Körpern machen dürfen, was sie wollen.

Natürlich braucht es dafür gut bedachte Rahmenbedingungen, natürlich besteht die Gefahr von Ausbeutung, natürlich müssen wir darüber reden, wie das vermieden werden kann. Das gleiche gilt aber für viele andere Themen (z.B. Organspende und Sexarbeit), bei denen ein pauschales Verbot auch keine Lösung darstellt.

One thing that's so underrated about PHM is Eva Stratt's appearance. She doesn't have the lipstick, sleek bun, pencil skirt (or even pantsuit), and heels look that is so often the uniform of female characters in similar roles. She doesn't wear makeup (as much as any other actor). She wears her hair down or in the simplest ten-second buns. She wears softs, easy to move in clothes that are weather appropriate. Captions cover the spot on the screen you put the information I need

The dialogue is captioned but not the song you have playing that the dialogue is responding to

You only captioned the person on the screen, not the person off screen who is also talking

No captioning of critical sound effects (alarms, bells, dogs barking, etc)

Speakers are not labelled at moments where it is not clear on the screen who is talking.

Captions cover the spot on the screen that you put the information I need!
