Hahaha, I finally finished it!
I want to turn this into a custom acrylic puzzle!
I originally used just two colors for these three pieces, but they ended up as contrasting colors—and that turned out pretty good anyway!
For the first one, Ryusui, I added seashells to his clothes to represent Ryusui’s dream of sailing, and it also gives that sense of luxury that belongs to Ryusui. I also added little star sequins on the shells. My thought was: "Dreams are always dazzling; even though they are small, they shine brightly because we want to make them come true." And so many little stars are just like Ryusui’s many desires. The water-like seepage marks on Ryusui’s back were actually traces left by UV glue. I turned those marks into waves and drew a ship on top, which fits Ryusui perfectly.
For the second one, Senku, I added sunflowers. The stems are made of wire, and I made them into a wreath to put on Senku’s head. The meaning of this sunflower is that it represents the blessings from Senku’s companions and friends. Every petal is a blessing from a different person, and all the blessings come together to form a flower. Sunflowers are also dazzling and give a sense of moving forward. On the back, the wire going through the paper made me think of roots still growing slowly, just like science. So I painted some young leaves to represent constantly growing experiences, knowledge, and life.
For the third one, Stanley, I drew his ghillie suit. I added strips of paper to the feather-like parts of the suit, which suits Stanley’s stealthy feel very well. I also added leopard ears and a tail to represent Stanley’s temperament. On the back is a chibi leopard-form Stanley, giving a sense of staring right at you.

The American comic style we tried before? I’ll try other styles later.

The third and fourth ones have more hidden colors and look brighter.

“Have I become the kind of adult I wanted to be?”
Crack → grass (life) → tie → clothing
Sometimes, associations just jump around like that.
And then they stop somewhere strange—
The younger version of myself,
placed into the shape of who I’ve grown into.
It feels right in some way,
and yet… not entirely.
…
Maybe growing up was never meant
to be a perfect fit.
So the way I am now—
have I really become
the kind of adult I once wanted to be?
