You know what else is great in bed? Books.
so this is my new bullet journal/planner! its a leuchtturm1917 wrapped in some pretty wrapping paper that i got in a book store.
i’m not really a fan of the pages in images 4 & 5 as they look too cluttered and that was the problem i was starting to have with my previous planner. in the following few spreads i started working with trying to channel the minimalistic and clean spreads of my dreams~
my monthly spread works really well for me- and this week i attempted a weekly spread as well, but didn’t enjoy this at all, and will be unlikely to use one again.
as per usual i have some other pages in my planner- recipes, to be read list + reading tracker, low spoon dinner, autism + sensory processing things, and DIY tutorials! I list these different pages in the contents at the beginning of the book (where you can also see some lil sticky notes that my boyfriend hid in my previous planner lol)
my future spreads and pages are likely to be similar to the minimal pages above, with the gentle colours and pretty strips of tape!

Before the availability of the tape recorder and during the 1950s, when vinyl was scarce, people in the Soviet Union began making records of banned Western music on discarded x-rays. With the help of a special device, banned bootlegged jazz and rock ‘n’ roll records were “pressed” on thick radiographs salvaged from hospital waste bins and then cut into discs of 23-25 centimeters in diameter. “They would cut the X-ray into a crude circle with manicure scissors and use a cigarette to burn a hole,” says author Anya von Bremzen. “You’d have Elvis on the lungs, Duke Ellington on Aunt Masha’s brain scan — forbidden Western music captured on the interiors of Soviet citizens.”
SO AMAZING.
