I had the absolute pleasure of commissioning the incredible @yappacadaver for a drawing of @imsorrey 's Rook, Mirwen, and Emmrich enjoying a ✨️moment✨️ from her very addictive and wonderful Emmrook fic "Heap Earth Upon It" 😍 such a privilege and I can't thank Yappa enough for blessing us with such wonderful art and being so sweet and incredible to work with! 🩷🩷🩷

10/10 go give Yappa some love and definitely give ImSoREY's fic a read if you haven't already!

I'm taking advantage of the other anon asking a fic related question lol no pressure at all but is "Heap Earth Upon It" still a WIP for you/do you have an idea when it might update next? Totally not trying to be annoying, I just love it so much/hope your life is well and am so excited to see it continue! 🩷no worries tho if you aren't sure. I have so much respect for fic writers and all the time/work you guys put in for nerds like me! 🩷🩷Thank you for all your fics and the hard work you do

It's still a WiP! I was actually trying to get a chapter out this week, but I've just been crazy busy with work, and it seems every time I sit down to write, something else needs my attention. Hopefully I can finish the next chapter up for next week. We'll see! Thank you for reading!!

I love your Emmrook fics, thank you so much for sharing/working on them 🙂 just curious...do you have a favorite chapter or moment you wrote for "A Fearful Thing" and "Heap Earth Upon It"?

Thank you! :D I'm glad you like them! If I had to pick something I particularly enjoyed...I think writing the Solas chapter in AFT, despite there being little Emmrook in that part. It felt so satisfying to fill in all of the backstory I'd been hinting at for so long, and finally getting to write that ending, bittersweet as it is, has stuck with me.

For Emmrook moments specifically, I dunno, I really like their dynamic in HEUI. I'm having a lot of fun exploring their flaws and their strengths as people and how well they mesh together.

Will this make sense to anybody not reading @imsorrey 's modern AU Emmrook fic? No. (Go read it 🤣)
