FoF: Adirondacks // Great week going deeper into my knowledge of pteridophytes & bryophytes in Lewis County, New York. Throughout my youth exploring Stony Brook, ferns and mosses were everywhere; however, I never really took much notice. Wow what a dream. Celebrated my hard-earned distinction degree and birthday by sketching, exploring, and experiencing Neolithic sites throughout Orkney. Skara Brae is just the icing on the cake. Was interesting to reflect on how agricultural civilizations at that point in time already had a choke hold on biodiversity.
